Jared took the day off work today. We took the boys to school and dropped off a bunch of packages at the post office. Got coffees at Tim Horton's. We meet Connie at the school and gave her a wax warmer. She sent us with m&m's for Eli. It was a rainy morning. We really enjoyed driving around amish country. Up and down the back roads. Mostly beautiful dirt roads with pretty trees. We stopped and picked up a bunch of acorns from white oak trees, planting to plant them. We saw a group of amish kids walking to school. We drove by them many times and they walked a long way. A few of them had bare feet. It was 50 degrees and raining. Burr! We stopped at the amish store. Got popcorn, lunch meat, cheese, hashbrowns, and dishrags. That was fun! We stopped at a roadside shop and got some big pumpkins from an amish lady. At home we ate a late lunch. Then we cleaned our fish tanks. Jared picked up the boys while I did some cleaning. It was a rainy afternoon. Eli's soccer practice was canceled. We watched Mighty Ducks 2.
