We watched Busytown Mysteries this morning. Then Adam and I built with lego sets at the counter. Eli pushed around the shopping cart. He was pretending to eat with the spoon and bowl he got out of the cart. When Eli wants something he reaches for it and yells, “Mama” over and over. After tucking him in for a nap Adam and I went outside to play. It was a nice day , cloudy and in the high 50’s. We played in the woods and had a fun playing house. Adam had me help paint trees with mud so we could camouflage them from Daddy. He had me pretend to be Nana, Jacob, and Mommy. He took me to school, soccer practice, picked me up from the bus and we went to Copper Harbor (a favorite place for Adam to pretend were visiting). We came inside shortly after noon for lunch. Eli woke up around 1pm. Adam played with his cars and semi hauler truck. We walked down to the end of our road to get Jacob off the bus. Adam went down in the ditch to play while we waited. We got a peapod travel bed for Eli and he took a nap in it this evening. Jacob wanted to wear his soccer gear and kick around the ball with me. The boys and I had fun playing soccer. Jared is working out of town for a couple days.

Easter 2011 (4-24-11)

Adam crawled into our bed around 7:30am. After awhile he went back to his bedroom to wake up Jacob. They were really excited to start finding the Easter eggs which Daddy had hidden last night. They had so much fun finding those. Norman took off with Eli's egg which was sitting on the stool for him to find. Then the boys searched for their Easter baskets. Adam found his in the loft bed in Eli's room and Jacob's was behind the bed in our room. Jared would have had a hard time finding his basket but he had help from the boys who knew where I hid it. Eli liked his egg and basket too. He got a matchbox car, yogurt malts, star puffs, and mini m&m’s in his basket. After church we came home and ate an early lunch. Then I tucked Eli in for a nap. The boys got out the legos to build with. Around 2:00 we headed to my parents house. My sisters and their families were there. The guys had hid Easter eggs in the yard and the kids were excited to go outside and look for those. It was a beautiful day outside. After all the eggs were found the kids sat in the grass to open their eggs to see what was in them. Back inside we hid the kids baskets from Nana and Papa. They took turns finding those and had lots of fun looking for them. Vikki and her family had to leave for a few hours. Mom, the Easter dinner was really yummy – Thank you! Chuck and Sue came over and then later this evening Wes and Galya stopped by. It was a nice day spending time with family and friends. The kids watched a movie from the Bible that Nana had got and they really enjoyed it. They also spent alot of time playing with the large foam blocks. This evening we went back outside for awhile. The kids ran around in the yard and played on the swingset until it was dark.
