7/30/22

Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  We got to my parents house around 10:00.  Adam and Eli are going with them camping at Bay Shore family camp.  Vikki and the kids met there too.  From there we headed to Michaels for fabric paint and Target for paint brushes.  I did some cleaning at home.  A few of Jacob's friends who play clarinet came over to help him decorate shirts.  Jacob is section leader this year.  They had 14 shirts to decorate.  They turned out really nice.  While they worked on those Jared and I relaxed in the hammocks and also sat on the swing.  There was a fire going in the fire pit.  The water in the pond is really low so we are filling it with well water.  There are alot of small goldfish in the water.  This evening we watched a movie with Jacob.  Jared went to town and picked him up Culvers for dinner.  He had the grilled chicken sandwich.  Jacob worked on the shirts until late.

7/28/22

We slept in until around 9:00.  Jacob had to be to school for a band meeting from 10:00 - 12:00.   I was going to go to my parents house today and Vikki suggested I test for covid because I had been sick with a cold and was still coughing.  I didn't think I had covid but decided to test.  The test was positive so I called Jared.  He came home from work and also tested positive.  Adam mowed the lawn.  We went to pick up Jacob from school and also went to McDonalds.  We saw my Aunt Jody and Uncle Steve and their grandson in there.  Jacob weedwacked.  Adam pulled weeds for me under the playground and got stung by a hornet.  There was a big hornet nest under the playground.  Adam hoed the garden and helped me remove the fence so Jared could rotatill.  Eli helped me pull weeds in the flower beds.  I also did some edging around the flowerbeds.  We got the tent out so it could dry.  The boys unloaded the rocks.  We took Adam to soccer practice. Jacob and I went into Michaels to get t-shirts for his section.  He needed 15 shirts.  They only had 14 in the correct sizes.  We went to Joann's for the other one.  They had their shirts for a $1 cheeper.  I took the others back to Michael and they price matched.  We ate a late dinner when Adam got home from soccer.

Adam slept through breakfast.  We took a walk around the campground and then played skipbo with Jacob and Eli. Took Grandpa a birthday card. This afternoon we went to Betty Gris. The water was cold so Eli is the only one who really went swimming. The boys had fun in the sand and played with the frisbee. Wyatt liked fetching the ball in the water as long as he didnt have to swim. When we got back to camp the boys and Daddy hauled wood in the kayak across Fanny hooe. We will see if its there again next year. Haha. We also took a bunch of wood to Grandma and Grandpas site for Dennis and Marcia. After dinner we worked on packing with the boys help. Grandma and Grandpa came and sat by the fire. We continued packing we got most things packed away before it started to sprinkle. The boys went on a long bike ride in the rain. We took a walk around the campground in the rain. The boys came back soaked. They went for a dip in lake Fanny Hooe with their clothes on to wash off the mud.

Day 14

It was a cool night last night. This morning I worked on fixing Adam’s metal set. Last night it broke while he was working on it. The front part connects to the back by some tiny metal tabs. He was working on it late and put it on upsidedown. After he realized it he tried to fix the mistake and the metal tabs broke. I used some scrap metal from the set and was able to fix it. Jared,Grandma and I played 3-13. Jared won. We were almost 300 points apart. Grandma’s score was in the middle. The boys slept in until about 10:00. We woke them and went down to get Grandma’s pancakes. After our morning walk around the campground we walked with the boys over to pebble beach. We took some pictures on the beach and found a bunch of rocks. Jared went back for the van so we didnt have to haul the rocks so far. We went back to camp for lunch. Then we headed to Hunters point. We found some rocks for Grandma. It was nice and cool on the beach. We then took a drive up Brockway mt. It was cool and windy up there. We stopped at the Berry patch for goodies on the way back to camp. Jared and I played 3-13. Jacob and Eli took a bike ride into town to visit the Laughing loon store. Eli also went to the agate shop. He bought a dragon rock. We played skipbo with Jacob and Adam and Eli did some wood burning. Then he went into the tent to read. After dinner we took a walk. Then we sat by the fire with Grandma and Grandpa. Daddy Jacob and Adam played a game of skipbo. It was a little after 10pm when we got in bed.
