Saturday (8-20-11)

The boys were really excited to wake up Kenzie this morning. Jacob and Adam were playing on the bed with Daddy when Jacob fell off the bed onto his head. Jared though he was hurt but he just laughed. We went out for our Sat drinks/donuts and stopped at Salvation Army. Jared fixed his scooter which had a gas leak. I got out the blocks for Eli to play with. Kenzie, Jacob and Adam sat at the counter and played with moon dough. I washed the boys carseat which were really dirty. After eating a late lunch we headed to Vikki's house with the crib and dresser. There was a storm on the way so we hurried to beat it and made it there just before the downpour. Eli took a nap. Jared put together the crib. Then Kenzie and I arranged the room the way Vikki wanted it. She was on video chat the whole time since she's in the hospital. Kenzie organized the babies clothes in the drawers and closet. Eli woke after a couple hours. Adam came to me and said, "We wanna watch a boys show on tv." My parents came over and thought the room looked nice. Around 5:30 we all headed up to the hospital. The boys and Kenzie rode in Nana and Papa's truck. Jared and I stopped to pick up pizza on the way. We had a nice visit. The boys took turns sitting next to Aunt Bippi on the bed. We stopped at the new Salvation army on the way home.

Friday (8-19-11)

"Look at my zebra feet"
Having fun with silly puddy
Shopping with Kenzie
This morning we took Eli to the hospital for x-rays. The boys got to come with us and stood just out the door to watch. We ate a packed lunch on the way up to the hospital to visit Vikki. I stopped at Tim Horton's to get cappucinos for Kenzie, Vikki, and I. Mom was there too. Eli took a nap in his peapod. Vikki got the boys some silly puddy which they played with for a long time. We stayed there until around 5:30. From there we headed to the mall. Kenzie had some money to spend and wanted me to take her shopping. We had lots of fun. The boys danced to the music in the stores. Kenzie wanted to surprise uncle Jared so I didn't tell him she was coming over. She got out of the van and went around the the back door to surprise him. We got home around 7:30. Jared had mowed the lawn and made dinner.

The Fun House
Yummy slushies
This morning we had a meeting at Adam's preschool. After filling out the paperwork we got to walk down to his classroom (the red room). Adam really liked seeing the room and the boys got to check out all the neat things in there. Jacob got to peek in his old room too. Jared headed to work and we went into town for a few groceries. Nana came over to see the boys new bedroom just after lunchtime. This afternoon we took the kids to kids day at the fair. With bracelets purchased they could ride rides from1-4pm. Mel and her family also came for this. Jacob's favorite was the rollercoaster and Adam's favorite were the bumper cars. The kids all had a great time going through the Fun House and went through it many, many times. Adam was scared to go in the Fun house until Aunt Missy went with him. Then he loved it too. Nana had to leave after a couples hours. Eli slept some and was good in the stroller. Jared meet us there after work. We walked around the animals barns and went to the Elephant show. After the show we walked around the horse barns. We went out to dinner with Mel's family at Fazoli's. As we were leaving Adam (from his carseat) told me to tell them (Aunt Missy & family) that he's going to school. Aunt Missy got out of her van and came over to chat with Adam about his school. That made him really happy. We got home around 8:30.The boys were really tired.

Today we moved around all the bedrooms. Now the three boys are sharing our bedroom, we are in Eli's room, and the other room is going to be an office. We were going to move Jacob into his own room but he didn't want to have his own room. The crib/dresser we are giving to my sister Vikki for her babies. Right now Eli is on the bottom bunk in his peapod with the side rail up. Adam was really excited to sleep on the top bunk and Jacob loves the loft bed. The boys were really excited at bedtime and it took awhile for Jacob and Adam to get to sleep.
