Eli loved using this egg slicer at Grandma and Grandpa's.  He was so surprised to find it in the drawer!!!

This egg slicer belong to Eli's great great Grandmother!!!

This morning Jared and I outlined where we wanted our new flower garden.  We used the garden hose and spray paint.  Jared tilled the new garden several times today when he had some breaks from work.  We raked out a lot of grass and Eli hauled it down near the pond. I decided to take down the fence and change the gates.  We took out a gate that wasn't used.  Now there is the small gate near the bee hives and a large gate near the barn.  Jacob and Adam pulled posts and dug post holes. Then we put the fencing back up.   It was super hot today.

The boys helped me hang the large gate by the barn.

Eli put a mask on Wyatt

Jared hauled round bales this evening.  He moved 8 round bales on three different wagons.  The first wagon had a tire blow out just as he came into the driveway.  Our hay guy came over to change the tire. It was dark the the mosquitos where biting when we finished the new flower garden.  We will see it in the morning.

Hi Jared here.  We drove down to Indianapolis for the weekend to see mom and dad.  Mom had some Lenten Rose to get rid of so we raised our hands for the donation.  We arrived Friday evening - so in order to get out of town with some free plants we had to work for our plants.  We changed all the interior door knobs and changed out 18 old 2 prong outlets for 3 prongs.  Dad had some branches to cut down so I brought the chain saw and hacked away.  So Saturday was pretty busy - had some nice rain.  Sunday after our work was approved we wondered around the yard and dug all sorts of flowers and not just some lenten rose.  We packed the back of the fan full of transplants.  We dug in the rain and dung in-between raindrops.  Eric, Kat, Andrew, and Noah came over Saturday and Sunday.  On Saturday while Kimmy, Mom, and I were out shopping for door knobs - first ones we got were wrong -  Eric worked on changing out the Living room and Dining room electrical plugs.  That was a huge help, cut the number to do by about half.  He also figured out how to get he door knobs off - it was really a strange configuration.  So ok maybe we got quite a bit father along with Eric’s help than we would of without it - I’d still be yanking on that door knob… so we  made off with a ton of plants and have lots to keep us busy the next few days - new flower bed designs etc.  We made it home Sunday evening -  had to stop for a bird bath on the way home - now to do some serious rototilling .

The boys were happy to see Lucy

Dad sent me these pictures

This afternoon we went to the campground to see Nana, Aunt Bippi and the kids.  We got there around 1:00 and visited for awhile before taking a walk around the campground.  Eli and Isaac had fun riding their bikes. We played a game of 3-13 in the screen tent with the fan blowing on us because it was warm in there.  Vikki won.  Peyton, Isaac and Eli played a 3-13 game of their own but they stopped early saying that Eli had won.  We had a yummy lunch.  I had a salad, some strawberries, and an ice cream cone.  Then we went to the pond so the boys could swim.  Adam was supposed to pack all the swim suits but he couldn't find Jacob's so then forgot to pack it.  Adam didn't swim because he'd wanted to swim with Jacob.  They decided to take a walk.  Eli, Peyton and I had fun in the pond.  We left just after 5:00 and headed to Papa's house so the boys could help him with the deck.  Dad had worked hard all day and was happy to have the boys there to help.  I left Adam and Jacob there and they are spending the night so they can continue to help Papa in the morning. Eli was sad that he didn't get to stay with Papa.  He and I stopped at McDonalds for shakes.  At home Daddy and Eli played minecraft.  I worked on cleaning the sheep's stall which badly needed to be done.  Jared helped me finish it when he was done playing with Eli.  We got the chicks set up with a more secure fenced area and we packed away the small fencing.  This evening we had popcorn and watched Star Wars.
