9-30-17

Had a hard time sleeping because of my cold so I sat in the chair early this morning.  Around 7:30 Eli came and sat on my lap.  Soon all three boys were up and watching Ninjago.  Jared and Adam went to town for donuts, bagels and drinks.  Around 10:30 we headed into town for soccer games.  Eli’s game started at 11:15 and Adams was at 12:15.  Adam’s team played against Pastor Scott's (our youth pastor) team and there were a lot of boys from our church on his team.  The kids played hard and had fun.  Back at home we had a late lunch.  Jared worked on throwing pots.  I worked on washing Oscars huge fleece.  I also made batts.  Nik came over and the boys played outside.  Eli got out his money to count.  Then Jacob started organizing the pennies by date.  Eli and Adam went outside to play in the ditch until dinnertime.  I made a couple pots on the wheel.  We watched a Highway to Heaven.  Then we all took a walk in the woods and the boys brought the kitty's.  Adam and Eli stayed to play in the woods until after dark.  

9-29-17

Today was a half day so I went into work at 8:00 and stayed until 11:15.  We just served pizza for lunch.  I picked up Jacob and Adam and then headed to the elementary to get Eli who gets out at 11:25.  From there we headed to Nana and Papa's house.  Papa asked the boys dig him a 4 ft hole for his basket ball hoop.  Jacob worked really had and really enjoyed digging the hole.  He hauled the dirt away in a wheelbarrow and dumped it in the flower bed.  Adam and Eli helped too and did some work in the garden for Papa.  Mom and I sat on the deck for awhile and visited.  Vikki came over around 3:00 and she made Mom, Jacob, and I a bracelet.  Jacob designed his own bracelet which Vikki made.  The kids had fun playing together.  They played in the basement, outside, and with legos.  Adam brought his instrument to play for Nana and Papa.  We got home around 7:30 and ate a late dinner.  Jared had the garden tilled.  We watched a Highway to Heaven.

I worked on washing Eva's fleece today.  Nik came over after school and stayed for a couple hours.  Jared took Adam to soccer practice this evening.  

9-27-17

The head cook was sick today so my boss asked if I could come into work an hour earlier.  I was already scheduled to come in early for another cook so today we were missing two cooks.  I was on front register for lunch and it was super busy.  I got home around 1:30.  I worked on washing Wilma and Daisy's wool.  The boys played in the pond and we took a walk in the woods.  Then we sat on the swing and called Grandma.  It was nice and cool this evening.

Got called into work early today and went in at 8:00.  The head cook was going home because she's sick.  I was already coming in 15 minutes early and staying late to cover another cooks shift.  We were busy and it was hot in the kitchen.  I ran the register for lunch and Adam came through my line to buy a large chocolate chip cookie.  I left around 1:15.  At home I let Frances, Henry (Han) and Clarence into another paddock.  Then I fed and water the ewes.  Jared called and I talked to him.  And then I called and talked to Vikki and Melissa for a little while.  The boys hitched a ride home in Jim's (our neighbor) truck.  This afternoon Eli and Adam had soccer practice.  Jared took them to practice and I stayed home with Jacob.  I worked on washing Blanch's fleece.  Jacob and I played some monopoly.  Then Jacob spent a long time practicing his clarinet for a chair tests.  We went outside to play with the kitty and a laser light.  Then Jared, Adam, and Eli played t-ball in the dark.

Busy day at work.  Got home and did some cleaning and laundry.  Jacob walked in first and said he had a bad day.  He fell while running backwards playing tag in the gym and hit his head on some cement.  He now has a big bump on the back of his head.  He said, "I can't wait to show Daddy!"  I helped the boys pack their lunches then Adam and Eli went outside to play in the pond.  Jacob played tanki on the computer.  Then the boys went over to Nik's house for an hour.  They were excited to play with his science kit again.  After dinner Jacob and I played some monopoly while Adam and Eli played minecraft.

Jared put in a new sink today and added a garbage disposal!  We had found a free stainless steel sink on the side of the road and Jared though we should replace the faucet (which was broke) while doing the sink.  After getting the old one out and the new faucet in we realized that the sink didn't fit right.  We found another really nice sink on Facebook marketplace and it fit nicely.  Then we decided to put a garbage disposal in while we were doing all this.  I love it!  Nik came over after church and had pizza with us.  The boys played in the bedroom.  Then they went to Nik house for a couple hours and played with his science kit.  Tonight we watched Home Alone and had popcorn pop and ice cream.

Eli's soccer team

This morning Adam and Daddy headed to town to get our Saturday goodies.  The boys had soccer games this afternoon and Eli had pictures too.  It was in the 90's and a very hot day for playing soccer.  After the games we headed home.  Jacob and I played monopoly.  Adam and Eli build some blanket tents and then they played in the pond.  Jared and I made some sleeves (from paper bags) for our wool batts.
