Playing chess.  Adam won.

Organizing the Lucy Dvd's.  There were a bunch in the wrong cases.

The boys gave us a tour of their minecraft server

 After church we headed to town to get groceries.  Also got Adam a 3 drawer storage container so he can organize all his minecraft legos. We put groceries away and then had pizza for lunch.  After lunch the boys played minecraft.  Then Adam got his legos all organized and he started another stop motion video.  Jared and I sheared the sheep on their back ends and belly to get them ready for lambing.  We are expecting our first lambs around Feb 11th.  We have everything all set for lambing we just need to get some more straw bales. We also trimmed hooves and wormed the sheep.  The boys helped us haul trays of pottery to the barn for a bisque firing.  We lost one yarn bowl that broke while loading. This evening we had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched tv.  Daddy read to us from the Watcher book and then I read devotionals.

Shelves are full

We are going to try and fire some pottery pieces with Kenzie's pendants.  This is a little succulent planter that Jared made.  I put a pendant on a mug. We are excited to try this!

The boys were up at 6am, watching tv.  Jared and I slept in until around 8:30.  Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies and I worked on trimming pots.  Jared came home and trimmed his pieces.  We made handles and finished mugs.  Jared put little handles on his salt pigs to.  I called Mom to see if we could come over for a visit.  She said they were going to walk around Frankenmuth but would go tomorrow.  She offered to make roast carrots and potatoes (my favorite meal) for dinner.  I told her not to cook for us but she said she was going to and then said goodbye.  The boys were laughed when they heard her hang up.  We got there around 2:30.  The house smelled so good with the roast in the oven.  Soon Vikki and Peyton were there too.  We such a nice time together!  Nana, Vikki, Adam, Peyton and I played a game of 3-13 and I won!  Jacob and Adam played a game of ping pong in the basement.  The food was so good! Thank you Mom!!  We got home around 8:00.

He got hot as he carved the ice.  It was 25 degrees.  Burr!

 Today I trimmed and attached handles on the 15 mugs that I made yesterday.  Jared came home early and got to throw on the wheel.  He made mugs and salt pigs.  I threw on the wheel when I got home from getting the boys.  I made a few mugs and some little heart shaped bowls.  Eli played outside chopping ice with the hatchet.  He carved out some hearts and spelled love in the ice.  Jacob had drivers training and drove to downtown Midland.  He said they worked on parking, including parallel parking.  The boys helped move a round bale in for the sheep.  We found a bunch of egg shells in a couple different spots in the barn.  Something is eating our eggs.  Jared and I played a couple games of 3-13.

1/28/21

Today I trimmed mugs and attached handles.  I also threw some mugs on the wheel.  Jacob had drivers training after school.  He took a test on road signs and got all 50 questions right.  I helped Adam do some studying for a test he's going to take next week.  Eli helped me make some brownies.  Jared and I played a couple games of 3-13 and we each won.  I got stuck with 80 in one hand.  The second game came down to whoever went out in the A's round would win.  I won. This evening we went to the sledding hill.  Jacob was still too sore to sled so he stayed in the van and read a book.  They were making snow with the machine and there was a hill at the bottom of the sledding hill.

1/26/21

 It was snowing this morning but the roads weren't too bad on the drive to school.  Then it started snowing really hard.  On the drive home the roads were snow covered and it was very hard to see.   I took pictures of all the new pottery and got them posted on etsy.  It snowed a lot today.  Jacob's driver's training was canceled.  Jared came home early and drove to get the boys from school.  After I finished taking pictures I trimmed the bowls and tumblers I'd made yesterday.  Eli shoveled the whole driveway and even shoveled us a path to the barn!  After dinner we went to the sledding hill at the Midland forest.  Jacob was sledding down into the woods and went over a log.  There was s loud crash and the sled busted.  His tailbone is very sore.  Back at home we made hot chocolate and I read to the boys.

Found chicken eggs in the barn and a few in the coop today.

 On our way to school this morning there was an accident that had happened on Shaffer rd.  A firetruck and police were blocking the road.  We had to turn around in the road and go out of our way to get to school.  The boys only had a few minutes to get to class.  They all said they made it to class on time.  Today I made bowls and a couple tumblers.  Jacob had a test in drivers training and he got the best grade in the class.  Adam and I played a game of 3-13 and Adam won.  While they boys played minecraft Jared and I played 3-13.  Jared won.  We peeked into the kiln but it is too hot to unload.  After dinner Eli, Jared and I played and Jared won.

 Jacob had drivers training this morning. They drove in downtown Midland. We waited until Jacob was back to watch our church service.  After church we went grocery shopping and picked up pizza's for lunch.  This afternoon Jared and I glazed pottery.  The boys played minecraft with Nik.  We had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched Duck Dynasty and Three Stooges.  Jared and I played a game of 3-13 after tucking the boys in bed.  I won.
