Jacob had so much fun making straws and siphons with the straw connector set.

Late swim

I added toggles to our screen tent today.

This morning the boys and I taught Eli how to play 3-13.  After lunch we went for a swim in the pool.  The water was cold but we quickly got used to it.  Nik came over and the boys played on the sand hill.  Then they went to Nik's house and played with army men.

Eli got zapped by the electric fence today.  He didn't know if it was on so he touched it quickly with one finger.  He didn't feel anything so he grabbed it with two fingers.

Jacob and Eli are spending the night at Nana's campground today.

Adam still isn't feeling well so he came home with me.  We stopped at the gas station for slurpies on the way home.

Today we worked on sewing toggles on the side panels of Mom's screen tent.  We also added grommets to the front so she can have an awning.  We ran out of thread so we will have to finish adding toggles tomorrow.

We got a new screen tent.  Our old screen tent had bad zippers!

Adam isn't feeling good.  He has a sore throat and a fever.

Jacob is so happy to be taller than Adam.

Silly boy

Jacob bought a Camp Timber's frisbee while at camp.  He and Daddy played frisbee on our hike in the woods.

Jacob is almost taller than Daddy!

Band camp concert day is finally here!!!  We get to have our Jacob back!!!

7th and 8th grade band

Taking a selfie with his cabin group.

Jacob was given this picture of his cabin group.

This is what they wrote on the back.  He was nicknamed "State"  because there was another kid named Jacob in their group.  The other Jacob was nicknamed "Farm".  Jacob loved his nickname!

The whole drive home Jacob talked to us about all the fun he had at band camp!  He sure had a great time!!!  Jacob taught us a bunch of songs and some games he learned.

Playing with the kitty

We wrote Jacob a bunch of letters while he was at camp and he said he got them all on Thursday and one on Friday.  He sent us a letter too but it arrived after he was home.

Here are the concert videos:)
Jacob was the only 7th grader on clarinet and he made 4th chair (he forgot to practice).
