8/21/2020

  We stopped at the post office on our way to my parents house today.  Vikki and the kids came over too.   We had a nice visit while sitting out on the deck.  We drove to Mel's house so we could give Dad his birthday present.  We ate a late lunch when we got back to my parents house.  Vikki gave Mom a haircut and then I gave Vikki one.  We also gave Dad a haircut.  The kids had fun in the pool.  Nana went swimming too.  We stopped for drinks at 7 elevan on our way home.  We stopped at the fair to pick up bucket and ribbons.  We got home late and Daddy had dinner almost ready.

 Went to the fair to take care of sheep this morning. This afternoon the boys and I played a game of 3-13.  I won but Eli was in second by only 1 point.  I stuck him at the end.  The boys helped me clean the house and then they played minecraft together.  Around 3:30 we went to take care of the sheep.  They wanted all exhibitors out of there by 4:30.  With only 100 people allowed they us being out meant more buyers could be there.  Eli helped me shuck corn from the garden to have with our dinner.  We watched the auction which started with lambs at 5:30.  Jacob sheep made $742.5, Adam's sheep made $649, and Eli's sheep made $675.  They were all very happy.  Took a walk in the woods this evening.  It was nice and cool.

Around 9:30 we went to the fair to take care of the sheep.  From there we headed to Nana's campground.  We played a game of 3-13 with Nana, Peyton and Isaac.  Jacob won.  Nana had burgers, potatoes, and corn on the cob for lunch.  We took a walk around the campground and searched for acorns for Vikki.  We played another game of 3-13 and I won.  The boys took a bike ride.  We left after 6:00 and headed to the fair to take care of the sheep.  Jared had dinner ready when we got home.  

8/18/2020

 The 4H sheep show was today.  It started at 8:00.  Jacob class was in first followed by, Adam and then Eli.   Jacob sheep wouldn't stand still making it hard to show.  The boys did really good.  Adam placed 1st and Jacob and Eli's sheep placed 2nd in showmanship.  Eli sheep did good until several sheep got loose.  Then he got jumpy.  The boys also showed in market also.  We had little caesars pizza for lunch.  Jared and I worked on the flower beds.  The boys played minecraft.  Jared and I picked corn and peppers.  We spent a few hours cutting up peppers for the freezer.  This evening we watched a marvel movie.
