12-30-14

Here are some more pictures of the kids sleepover at Nana and Papa's.  They had so much fun!!

Back at home. Jacob is flying the helicopter he got for Christmas.  The first one didn't work so Aunt Missy traded it for this one.  Jacob was so excited!

Today I drove past this Matag dishwasher on the side of the road.  I loaded it in the van and brought it home.  Our old dishwasher was kinda falling apart (spring broke on door, wheels falling off, and didn't clean well).  Well we took the new dishwasher apart (go the screw out that was clanking around in the bottom), cleaned it up and it runs great!  YAY!!

12-29-14

These boys were super excited to be having a sleepover at Nana and Papa's!

Jacob got to hang out with Papa this afternoon.  The boys always love riding with him in the truck.

Jared texted me and said he had a suPrI'se for me at home.  I didn't get the clue but he had brought home PI's for dinner!  Before eating we took down the Christmas tree.  That only took us about 30 minutes. We watched the movie Elf and then some I Love Lucy.  The pleurisy is getting a little better but still hurts really bad.  Hope to be better soon.  Looking forward to our trip to Indiana!

Here are a couple pictures Mom posted of the kids eating pizza

12-26-14

This morning we went out for coffee's and donuts.  Stopped at TSC and got mineral for the sheep.  The boys played with legos and their tent builders today.  Jared and I got the sheep stall cleaned.  It wasn't too bad as we just cleaned it last week.  I've been really sick and now have pleurisy.

Campout!

Jacob modified his so it's taller
We woke up to Adam running by our bedroom, looking at the tree (presents), and then running back to his bedroom (to shake Jacob awake).  Next Jacob was running past the bedroom.  It was just after 6am.  We got up and Daddy made banana bread.  Eli was asleep next to our bed and the boys really wanted to wake him.  We have been sick with colds and Eli was awake late last night with a sore throat and a stuffy nose.  We had them let him sleep.  They looked at the names on all the presents.  Then they went to their bedroom and built igloos with their fort builders.  We built one for Eli too.  Eli woke up around 7:00.  He still had a sore throat so we gave him some medicine.  He loves the liquid medicine in the little cup and always pats the bottom to get every last drop out.  The boys opened stocking first which had toothbrushes, gum, tic tacs, glue, m&m's, glow sticks, hot wheels cars, and pez dispensers.  Next we took turns opening gifts.  The boys got slurpie straw cups, some lego sets, and mega nerf guns.  We also got a lortone tumbler, grit, and shot.  This was on Jacob's Christmas list but we decided to get it for the family.  Daddy got some m&m's, knitted slippers, and some muck boots. Jared made me a beautiful glass piece to hang in the window.  And I got lots of beautiful yarn for knitting, a scissor set, phone cord, and some fast drying towels.  The boys spent the next couple hours putting legos sets together.  Daddy helped Eli with his sets.  I used the tumbler and stainless shot to clean up some jewelry.  That was fun and it did a nice job on them.  We added some shelves in the boys room to fit their new lego sets.  We ate around 1:00.   Eli's throat was still hurting so he only ate a couple bites of ham.  The boys had fun playing with their new things and playing Wii Batman.  Nana came over this evening and the boys were excited to show her all their new things. And I was excited to show her my new things too, haha.  Dad wasn't feeling too well so he stayed home.  Mom stayed and visited for awhile before heading home.  This evening we had popcorn, pop and ice cream.  The boys chose I Love Lucy to watch tonight.  They are super excited to be camping out in their igloo tents tonight.
