Loading the kiln

Packages ready for the post office

More packages ready to ship tomorrow.

We loaded the kiln this morning.  Burr it was cold and windy outside.  Adam went to the post office with me.  We saw a bald eagle eating road kill on the way home.  We watched it fly into a tree in the field.  Adam and Eli had zoom meetings today.  Adam had 4 and Eli had 3.  All Jacob's zooms's are on Monday's and Wednesday's.  Eli couldn't get on for band zoom because it wasn't working.  He did have to record a video of him playing a song.  We forgot to teach him about cork grease so the cork came off his mouthpiece.  Good thing we have Uncle Rick's clarinet.   He was able to use the mouthpiece from that.  Jacob showed him how to use cork grease and gave him his own tube.  Eli really really likes Uncle Rick's case so is going to switch cases.  He also didn't have a cover for his mouthpiece and we found one he can use.  He was so happy and loved helping me clean the case. Now he can store his music book right in his case! The stitches were all rotted so I had to glue some parts of the case.  I think it will hold up for many more years.  I made 16 big mugs today.  Got done around lunchtime.  Jared came home early because we had an appointment to get our flu shots.  We went to Camp's music shop to drop off Eli's mouthpiece.  Also went to Staples to get some boxes.  The boys had fun playing minecraft with Travis.   We Face-timed Aunt Missy and the kids to see their new guinea pig.  Also to wish Max a happy birthday.

Han

All three of the boys had zoom meetings today.  Adam and Eli came with me to the post office.  The post office is out of the boxes we use for shipping.  We did order some that shipped last week but we are still waiting for them.  Hopefully we will get them tomorrow.  Adam worked on the puzzle after he finished his school work and Eli played with legos.  The boys had fish sticks and chips for lunch.  They all said the fish sticks were really good.  I worked on glazing the inside of the pots.  When Jared got home he had to make a liner glaze because it was really low.  He made that pretty quickly.  We got a package in the mail from Grandma!  The masks are so nice!!  Thank you so much!!  We had round steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn for dinner.  After dinner Jared and I continued glazing pots.  Jared made a couple new colors for us to try.  Can't wait to see how they turn out.  The boys worked on the puzzle and then played minecraft with Travis.  They sure had a lot of fun playing with him.

After church we went outside to play some soccer with the boys.  It was a beautiful day today.  We played until around noon.  First game was Jacob and Adam vs Jared, Eli, and I.  We lost 10-1.  Then we played Jared and Jacob vs Adam, Eli and I.  I played in goal until Eli got hurt.  We won 5-2.  We went to town for groceries and pizza.  We did some more weaving on our loom rug.  We have just a couple inches left on it.  We sold a big 13.5 lb fleece.  It's Han's fleece and the same lady bought his last fleece.  She asked me to send her a picture of Han for her spinning journal.  Jared made some more glazes and I waxed pottery.  The boys played minecraft.  This evening we had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched Full House.

Opening the kiln

New round bale for the ewes

Adam got hurt and now has a big bump on his shin.

We had banana bread and donuts for breakfast.  Jared made a trip to town for our drinks.  We played a few soccer games today.  The first game Jacob and Adam won 8-7.  I scored a couple points!  Later we played and lost 10-1.  We started another game with Adam, Eli and I vs Daddy and Jacob.  Jacob and Adam play so hard against each other and kept getting hurt.  They really need to wear their shin guards if they play against each other.  Adam has a big bump on his shin.  Nik joined the boys on their minecraft server.  Jared and I worked on the loom rug.  We have about 14 inches left until it's done.  We unloaded the kiln this evening.  One of my honey pot lids had a knob fall off.  Other than that everything was good.

                                                Another fun Russell zoom meeting

We had a great time zooming with the Russell's this morning.  The boys all got bowls of ice cream.  We are missing our GA trip this year.  This afternoon Jared and I loaded the kiln for a bisque firing.  We still have a lot of pottery that wouldn't fit.  The shelves in our bedroom are still almost full.  This evening we set up the Christmas tree and also decorate with lights outside.  We listened to Christmas music and had fun.  We watched Home Alone 2 this evening.

Mask ornaments from Aunt Debbie

Russell family zoom

Playing 3-13

Playing a fun pictionary game

We got to Nana and Papa's house around 10:00.  Soon Vikki and her family and Kenzie and Travis arrived.  Nana put out yummy snacks for us to munch on until it was time to eat.  We ate around 1:30.  Everything was so yummy!!  Thank you Mom!!  Later we had pie for dessert.  Mom made banana cream and chocolate pie and I made an apple pie.  Mel and her family came over around 2:30 for a distance visit outside.  Dad got a fire going so we could stay warm.  Aunt Debbie came over and handed out ornaments she got for the kids. They are cute 2020 mask ornaments with their names on them.  We had a wonderful time in a zoom meeting with the Russell family.  Indiana, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and Michigan family's were present.  Mom, Vikki, Isaac, Jared and I played a game of 3-13.  I was in the lead the whole game until the last round.  Isaac won by 1 point.  I didn't even make second place.  Jared came in second.  Then we played a really fun pictionary game.  It was girls vs boys.  First team to 21 points wins.  We were way behind but pulled ahead in the end for the win.  Got home around 10pm.  Happy Thanksgiving!!
