Trick or Treat

Got our Sat goodies and headed to the soccer field.  Adam's had to be there at 9:15 for his 10:00 game.  They played the only team they've lost too (3-2).  Today they played hard and tied this undefeated team, 4-4.  Best two teams in the league.  The other coach had some nice compliments for our team.  Pastor Scott handed out halloween goodies for the kids after the game.  This afternoon we went to Mel's house to celebrate Halloween with family and friends.  There was warm chili to eat.  Mom made some chicken chili for me.  Thanks Mom!  We all brought bags of the kids favorite candy's.  Mel and Bruce passed it out to the kids.  We sure had alot of fun!  We had to leave at 3:00 for Eli's 4:00 soccer game.  Eli's team won 3-2.  Last time they played this team they lost 6-3.  At home the boys played minecraft.  Jared and I made chapstick.  Then we ate a late dinner and watched Full House.

 I made soup bowls with handles today.  As I was walking near the pond a Blue Heron flew away.  I saw some snow flurries today.   Made some banana bread.  There was another positive Covid case at the high school.  They have quarantined well over 100 students and staff.  The boys played minecraft.  When Daddy got home we watched the new Mandalorian.  We had homemade mac and cheese for dinner.  Jacob had to be at the school by 6:00 for the football game.  It was cold.  They gave him some hand warmers.  Adam and I played chess.  Then Jacob finished my second game with Adam when he got home.

Jared went into work today.  I trimmed mugs and made handles.  Jared left some work items in the van so I drove there to drop them off.  Eli was excited that his 4th grade art work was chosen to send to China.    Adam had soccer practice.  It was cold and rainy.  Adam says he was warm in his shorts and t-shirt.  At home we ate a late dinner.  Jacob had some studying to do.  There was a positive Covid case at the high school.

Got our car back today.  There was something else that needed replacing with the starter.  Jared drove it home but says it's not running right so he will have to take it back.  Jared worked from home and had time to make some little cups.  This evening Eli had soccer practice. It started an hour earlier this week. After dinner we carved pumpkins.  We read to the boys while Jacob and Eli finished carving theirs.  Then we played some hide and seek in the dark.

New lawn mower

Soon after I got home from school Jared left to go get our new lawn mower from Darren.  He used Darren's trailer to bring it home.  After returning the trailer he had to go into work.  I made handles and trimmed mugs today.  Jared got home around 2:00 and helped me finish my handles.  Jacob had a 4:00 dentist appointment.  Jared dropped Adam, Eli and I off at Nana and Papa's house.  Vikki and the kids were there.  Jacob just chipped part of a filing and the dentist was able to fix it today without any numbing.  We helped Nana and Papa get their outdoor stuff put away for winter.  We were going to do our pumpkins this evening but Jacob had too much homework to do.  Eli and I played a game of 3-13 and I won.  I had -77 and Eli had 119.  The middle school had a positive Covid case of an 8th grader.  Adam said there are alot of kids missing from the 8th grade band because the kid plays the trumpet. His mom is a teacher at the elementary so there are some in quarantine there too.

Jared worked from home today.  Our car needs a new starter and it should be ready to pick up tomorrow sometime.  I made some mugs.  Jacob worked on school work until past his bedtime.  Jared took Adam to soccer practice.  It was cold and rainy.  Adam was the only one in shorts and a t-shirt.  All the others were bundled up.  Jared hurt his back during our soccer game yesterday and he is moving slow today.  Eli and I went outside to kick the soccer ball around.  He called Dob and she came running up to the fence.
