We got a few inches of snow during the night so the roads were slick on the drive to school. Someone had went in the ditch on Stark rd.  After work I went shopping for Eli's birthday.  Jacob and I played chess and I won. Then Adam and Jacob played while we got dinner ready. After dinner Jacob Eli and I played 3-13 and I won.  Eli held the lambs while Jared tagged and banded them.

2/26/19

The secretary came down to talk to me while I was serving lunches.  She said Eli didn't have a temperature but he was feeling really sick.  I hurried to get done early and then went to the office to pick him up.  He had some bad diarrhea but after a few hours he was back to feeling good.

Around 11:30 Jared went out to the barn to check on the sheep and Eva had just lambed twins. We got them into a stall and took care of them. We usually tube feed the lambs some colostrum but we had a hard time getting any milk. We made up some packaged colostrum and tubed the lambs. After a couple hours we came inside for bed. The girls weigh 11.3 lbs  and 12.1 lbs.

Jared, Adam and Eli went to town to get Sat goodies.  I worked on taping and caulking the window and the vanity counter. Jared and I spent most to the day until dinnertime putting in the new bathroom floor. Then Jared cut and sanded baseboard while I primed them. We also framed the bathroom window. We checked on the sheep many times but no new lambs. Jared had to run to home depot and the boys helped me haul trash down to the dumpster.  It was super windy today.

2/22/19

This evening we tagged and banded the lambs.  There were a couple lambs with entropion so we had to give them a shot of penicillin in the eyelids.
