9/22/23

Today Eli and I drove to MSU to pick up Jacob.  I picked Eli up from school a little early and we stopped at McDonalds.  Wyatt came with us.  We were a little early so we took Wyatt in Petco.  We picked Jacob up around 4:!5.  He said he has been sick with a cold for a few days.  He was coughing.  Jared had picked Adam up from soccer practice and they were home.  Jacob had to leave right away to go to Meridian.  The alumni are playing with the marching band for their homecoming game.  Jared drove Jacob to school and then came home to get Adam and take him to his school for their homecoming game.  They are wearing white to the game.  Eli and I went to Meridian for the game and Jared met us there but he was late.  It was so crowded that I had a hard time finding a seat.  There were alot of people standing.  A nice couple offered to squeeze us in past them.  Eli wanted to walk around with his friends.  Jacob had fun seeing his friends and playing with the band.  Meridian lost 0-43.  After the game Jared went to Midland to pick up Adam.   I took Eli and Jacob to McDonalds.  We ordered and waited in line for at least 30 min.  When we got up there she had me repeat my order.  Then she said it wouldn't work so they couldn't serve us.  We headed home and Jared picked up pizza's.  We hadn't eaten dinner yet.  

9/21/23

 Today I trimmed pots.  There were a lot to trim.  I added holes to the front of the wax melters. Then I put handles on Jareds 4 mugs.  We carved flowers on the bottom of the little bowls that sit on top of the wax melters.  I was trying to fit pottery on the shelf and accidentally dropped Jared's favorite little mug that he had just made.  Big bummer!  I picked Eli up from the high school at 4:30 and took him to McDonalds for a pop and a sandwich. I picked Adam up from soccer practice at 5:45 and took Eli to his soccer practice at 6:00.   Went home to work on some pots and make dinner.  Jared went back to town to get Eli.  Played some bedwars with Evan and Eli tonight.

9/20/23

 I trimmed my plates and then worked on throwing wax melters.  I made little cups with small bowls to fit on top.  I threw 16 of them.  Eli stayed after school and went with friends to the high school for the after school weight lifting class.  He really enjoyed it.  I picked up Adam at 3:30 and then picked up Jared.  We went to Meridian to get Eli at 4:30.  Jared threw some mugs on the wheel because I didn't have time to clean up today.  He threw 4 mugs.  After dinner we took the boys to youth group.  We went to Mom's house to pick up her car which she is going to let us use while they are gone.  Sure is going to be nice to have two vehicles for a couple day.  When I got to church to pick up the boys they were playing Gaga ball.  The kids found a stick bug in the tree.  We played some bedwars with Jack and Evan this evening.  

9/19/23

 Today I pugged clay and made plates on the wheel.  I also made some wax melters and a cup.  Picked Eli up at 3:00.  Adam had soccer practice so he didn't get out until 5:30.  Jared biked to Dow Garden's where I picked him up.  We had to hurry home to get Eli because he had soccer practice.  We were late picking up Adam because I forgot about Eli.  There was a bad accident on Stark rd.  Both vehicles were smashed and in the ditch.  After dropping Eli off we went home because Adam wanted to work on his course.  Jared went back into town to get Eli.  We played some bedwars.  Adam invited Daddy to play bedwars with him and his friends.  

9/18/23

 

I talked to mom on the phone and she was going to come over tomorrow.  I had to go to Freeland today to order a corsage so decided to go early and spend a few hours with my parents.  Yay!  Mom surprised me and got us subway for lunch! Yummy!  She drove us in the new truck to Austin's to order the flowers for homecoming.  We picked out some ribbon to match Adam's tie because Clare's dress is white. When we got back Mom made us coffees.  Melissa came over.  We watched Aunt Vikki's baptisms online.  Melissa couldn't stay long because she had to go to Bay City to pick Max up from school.  I had to leave at 2:30 to get the boys.  Eli had soccer practice this evening.  I stayed home with Adam so I could make dinner.  I made chicken taco's (Adam's favorite) and regular taco's too.  

9/17/23

After church we got groceries and picked up pizza's for lunch.  This afternoon I worked on edging and weeding in the flowerbeds.  I also clipped off some dead stuff.  Jared and the boys had tons of fun playing stormworks together.  They were fun to listen to.   This evening we had popcorn pop and ice cream.  We watched Asoka and then the live action Little Mermaid.  

9/16/23

 Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  We played bedwars with the boys.  This afternoon Eli had his first soccer game of the season.  Adam's old coach is Eli's coach this year.  Adam wants to go to a couple of their practices.  Eli played goalie in the first half.  There were no shots on goal.  He played defense in the second half.  We won 6-1.  Jared mowed the lawn this evening.
