I unloaded the kiln this morning and was disappointed that my plates cracked. I was in a rush to get them done so they weren't totally dry when I put them in. 5 out of the 13 cracked. Bummer. Our kiln errored because it didn't get hot enough. Jared's friend and our neighbor said we could use his kiln. Jared got out of work early and made a couple stops before coming home. I played some bedwars with the boys. Jared took the pottery over to Dan's house. We only took what we needed for Christmas presents. Bruce's mom ordered a set of plates for Bruce and Melissa. We decorated the Christmas tree this evening. It has alot of ornaments because we have a smaller tree now. It still looks so pretty. Jacob set up the nativity. Eli's koi/goldfish tank's water perimeters were off because he overfed them. His fish started dying. We did a water change and the fish still were dying. Another water change. Another dead fish. We thought all was good but when I checked on them before going to bed there Biscuit (the big koi) was floating on his side. We set up some buckets with sponge filters and put them in there. They started doing better.
