We got to Nana and Papa's house around 10:15. Kenzie and Travis and Vikki and her family were there. They thought we were going to be there earlier. We passed out presents and started opening gifts youngest to oldest. Isaac and Peyton were first and both got a gumball machine. Adam and Eli got legos. Jacob got long sleeve Gilden shirts and some strip lights. They got some money too. Jared got a Home Depot gift card and some nuts. I got a sweatshirt, a handmade dishcloth, dish towels, a scrubby, sage hand soap, a Tim Hortons card and an echo dot with a smart light bulb. Kenzie and Travis made us some awesome glass pieces. Kenzie made Uncle Jared a #2 ninja pendant - haha! Kenzie gave me a really nice set with a pendant, buttons and beads all made from glass! Travis made me a glass cup and gave both Jared and I a glass marble. I sure love all our glass pieces from them! Melissa and her family arrived around 11:00 so we could celebrate Christmas together in the garage. Dad started off by reading the Christmas story. Then the kids had fun doing their secret gift exchange. Isaac had Eli got him a ranch bottle and a lego set, Max had Adam and got him a Garfield book, finger lights, and candy, Kenzie had Jacob and she got him a backpack and a Rubik's game. We all went in on a garage door opener for Dad. The kids had fun together! When Melissa had her family had to leave we got hugs from Melissa and the boys! It was the first hugs we've gotten since Covid! It was so special!!! Back inside Nana and Papa opened their gifts. Then it was time to get the tables ready and make mashed potatoes. Eli and Adam both worked on putting together their new legos sets. Chuck and Sue came over at 2:00 to have Christmas dinner with us. The food was all so yummy!! Thank you Mom!! After dinner Jared, Dad, Chuck and Sue played Euchre. Mom, Vikki, Kenzie, Travis, Jacob and I played 3-13. There was so much talking during the game that we didn't get to finish. We had fun visiting and playing even if we couldn't finish. Mom made chocolate pie, banana cream pudding, and I made an apple pie for desert. There was ice cream too. We had such a nice day together. Got home around 10pm.
