Day 11 (8/10/23)

We were up around 7am. Jared and I finished a game of 3-13, Jared won. Then Eli played with us and Jared won again. We went to Grandma's for pancakes but there was no power. So we decided to play a game of 3-13 with Grandma and Grandpa. Jared won again!  I had over 200 points. Jared was the only one with under 100 points. Grandma got stuck with 100 points in the jack round. Wow!  Pretty poor score keeper who cant win. Still no power so we had pop tarts for breakfast. We took a walk around the campground and stopped to say goodbye to Dennis and Marcia. They are leaving a day early because of the rain being predicted. We went to Great Sand bay.  Jared and Eli swam in the waves. I played with Wyatt on the beach. I held a stick up by my side for Wyatt to jump up and get. Well, his foot caught my shorts and pulled them right down to the ground. Geez, that was embarrassing. And there were a lot of people on the beach. I couldn't even get Jared's attention so I could get out of there. Haha. From there we went to the jampot. There was a long line out the door. We waited. Grandma and Grandpa were there too, near the front. After getting our goodies we went to see Jacob’s falls. Eli hiked up the trail by the falls. After he came down he really wanted Daddy to come up and see how cool it was. There was an ore boat in the lake. We drove up Brockway mt on our way back. It was cool up there. We thought we could see Isle Royale. We went to the agate shop in town and Eli bought some copper dice. He said he's been thinking about them for a couple years now. We made a quick trip to Hunters point to get some rocks for Grandma. Back at camp we started working on packing. Eli and Jared hauled logs across the lake. They picked a new spot to hide them. Eli tricked Daddy and somehow got his paddle. So Daddy had to paddle back to shore with his hands. Eli helped load the kayaks onto the top of the van. I walked to the fort store so I could be available for mom to call or message while she attended a soccer meeting for Adam. Jared and Eli came there and we got ice cream cones. They went back to work on packing while I stayed for my mom. I talked to her after the meeting and then headed back to camp. It was cold and we had a nice warm fire to sit by with Grandma and Grandpa.
