I took Jared to work and then took the boys to school.  Today I spent most of the day outside in the flower beds.  I did some trimming, pulled up rocks, and did some edging.  I also edged next to the sidewalk where the grass was growing over it.  It was a nice day to work outside.  I picked Eli up from school and he took care of the chickens in the barn when we got home.  I picked Jared up form work at 4:45.  He had a stressful day and wanted to go get ice cream cones at Coney and Cones.  We both got vanilla and choc twist.  Yummy!  Adam got done with soccer practice at 5:30.  Jared mowed the lawn in the backyard and also taught Eli how to weed wack.  That's usually Jacob's job.  Eli didn't love it as much as Jacob does.  We played some bedwars with the boys.

Jared took the day off work today so we could spend our 20th anniversary together.  We got goodies from Tim Hortons before taking the boys to school.  Then we headed to Clare to drive around amish country.  We drove up and down a bunch of dirt roads and saw alot of beautiful amish farms.  We stopped for goodies at one farm and got choc chip cookies and zucchini bread.  We went into town because Jared had a meeting at 11:00 for work.  I went in the antique shop while waiting.  Jared came in and said his meeting was rescheduled.  We went to Big Boy for lunch.  At the antique shop I found a nice 3 prong rake for $4.  We drove to a cute little amish greenhouse and got a couple plants.  We also visited the Colembach amish store.  Jared dropped me off at home on the way to get the boys from school.  I wanted to use my new rake and work in the flower garden.  When Jared got home we planted our new plants.  For our anniversary we got this cute concrete pig from the anitique store.  We put him in the flower pot.  We went to Warmbier Farms and walked around there.  Found a couple concert garden ornaments, a small owl and a bird. We put them in our bird baths.  They look so cute. We also stopped at Costco. Made mashed potatoes and corn and also taquittos and shrimp for dinner . Watched a movie.  Had fun playing bedwars with the boys.

Today I worked on cleaning dressers and the closet,  I filled several bags to donate.  Adam's soccer practice was weight lifting in the gym.  We got to talk to Jacob tonight.  He had voice classes today that he enjoyed.  He said the piano lesson class was fun. They also had their first band practice. Tomorrow he has a lesson with his instructor.  He really likes the food there and is having a good time at college.  It was really nice to talk to him.  After dinner Jared and I played 3-13.  Jared won.

Happy 75th birthday Dad! Today was Eli's first day of school.  I took Jared to work and then took Adam and Eli to school.  Today I cleaned our sock drawers.  This afternoon I took Jared to his dentist appointment in Saginaw.  We went to my parents house this evening to celebrated my Dad's birthday.

I took Jacob back to Lansing today.  It was so nice having him home for the night.

Jared left early to get our Sat goodies.  Then we headed to Lansing to pick up Jacob.  He had auditions on Thursday so didn't need his lesson with Dale.  He said auditions went good.  It was nice talking to him on the drive home.  We got home around 11:30.  For dinner tonight we made a bunch of burgers on the grill.  The kids can warm them up later.  Vikki and Rody and the kids got here around 12:30.  Peyton and Isaac are staying here while we go to our cousin, Amanda's, wedding.  Vikki and Rody are going to ride with us.  The wedding was in Grand Rapids and started at 3:30.  We had alot of fun and it was great seeing everyone.  We sat at a table with family.  Got home around 10pm
