9/7/23

I put handles on my mugs this morning.  Then I worked on making chocolate chip cookies for the party.  I made about 150 cookies.  Packed up the cookies and went to Jared's work.  We picked up Eli from school and then met Mom in Freeland so I could ride with her back to her house.  Jared had to get home for a work meeting.  Vikki and Kenzie soon arrived and Mom went to pick up Melissa. Then we all drove together to  Kenzie's ultrasound.  It was a detailed ultrasound and was so fun to watch.  Her baby boy sure was cute, smiling and yawning.  We sure loved seeing this ultrasound!  Can't wait to meet this little guy!  Jared picked Adam up from soccer practice. Eli had his first soccer practice this evening.  He had coach Adam who Adam has had several seasons in the past.

 We had donuts for breakfast.  This afternoon we went to see a movie at the theater, Blue Beetle.  After dinner we drove Jacob back to Lansing.  We listened to a couple messages from The Common's church while driving.  The messages were very good.  

9/3/23

It was really warm in church today.  After church we went grocery shopping.  Jared picked up pizza's from Good Times for lunch while I was shopping.  We got some waterweld from Home Depot.  This afternoon I worked on patching the two small cracks in the pond I found on the side of the road last night.  We waited an hour before trying it to see if it worked.  It did.  We found a spot in the flower beds where we decided to put the pond.  Took out some plants and started digging.  Jared brought over the tractor sand we filled it with dirt. IT was a very hot and humid day.  We brought us out some ice cold waters.  We facetimed Grandma to show her the pond.  After finishing we relaxed in some chairs near the pond.  We went to town to get some goldfish.  This evening we had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched a movie.

We left early and headed to Bay Shore camp for the CMA rally.  The boys were a huge help at getting the tent set up and all the pottery unwrapped and put on the table.  Kenzie set up a table with her pendants and also did facepainting.  Vikki and her family came too.  We got to take a golf cart for a ride with the kids which was fun.  We took the boys home and then headed to Lansing to get Jacob.

I drove Jared to work this morning.  He brought his bike so he could ride it from where I can drop him off at.  The slept in because there was no school today.  Eli helped me clean the house.  Vikki and the kids came over.  Peyton also brought her friend from school.  The kids had fun playing outside for a long time.  I helped Vikki work on restoring a cute rocking horse.
