We had to wake up early today to get to the soccer complex so Eli could get a team photo.  The coach told us to be there at 8:20.  He didn't get there until 8:45 and said he'd made a mistake and pictures are at 8:50.  Jared and the other two boys headed to get our Sat morning goodies.  After pictures Eli went to practice with his team.  The game started at 10:00.  It was cold and windy this morning but the sun was shining.  Eli got to be goalie during the first half and did great.  We got home around 11:30.  The boys helped with some house cleaning.  Lane's mom dropped him off around 1:00.  He and the boys went to play on the sandhill.  We worked on taking down the fence around the garden.  Then Jacob, Eli, and Lane helped us get veggies from the garden.  They had fun picking the carrots, onions and digging up the potatoes.  We also picked peppers and broccoli.  The boys had fun playing in the leaves.  We came inside and I made hot chocolate for the boys.  Around 3:15 we headed to town for Adam's soccer game.  Eli and Lane had fun playing in the woods and found lots of bones from a deer.  Lane was chasing Jacob with a water bottle and Jacob fell while running backwards.  He hurt his wrist.  Lane's mom met us at the soccer complex when the game was over.  We stopped at TSC before heading home. After dinner we went outside to play.  Jared tilled the garden and he tilled the new path in the woods.  I worked on cleaning up some things in the barn.

Jacob stayed after school today to hang out in the band room with his friends.  He is going to be joining the marching band at the football game this evening.  At 4:30 he went to the high school and they ate dinner.  Then they rehearsed with the marching band.  Eli had soccer practice this evening.  We headed to the game after they got home from that.  The game started at 7:00.  Jacob said it was a lot of fun but his feet hurt from standing and he was cold because he decided not to wear his sweatshirt.  Our team lost to Clare 34 to 13.  We had a lot of fun.

I picked the boys up from school and we headed to Nana and Papa's.  Vikki and the kids were there too.  We sat out on the deck and visited.  The kids had fun on the trampoline and played in the basement with legos.  They also watched some Garfield.  Mom made pizza for dinner and also had stuffed peppers and baked potatoes.  We went back outside to try Dad's new yardzee game.  It was a lot of fun.  Jared replaced some parts on the lawn tractor and then mowed the lawn.

This evening  I took Eli to soccer practice.  The mosquitos were really bad.  Jared stayed home to work on the lawn tractor.  After dark the boy and Daddy played their tag game with Wyatt's glow ball.

9-17-18

This afternoon I worked on trimming mugs and making handles.  I took brownies of the oven just before walking down to get the boys off the bus.  It was a hot day today, mid 80's and sunny.  The boys helped pack lunches and then practiced instruments.  Eli didn't bring his homework home so didn't get to play the computer.  Adam and Jacob played their time on the computer and then it was time for dinner.  After dinner Jared headed off with Eli and Adam to Adam's soccer practice at the park.  After they got there they found out that practice had been canceled but the coach had texted our home phone.  Jacob and I played a game of Life.  This even we had puppy class with Wyatt.  He was such a good puppy.

9-16-18

We were in the nursery for second service today.  After church we went shopping and Jared went to get pizza's for lunch.  This afternoon Jared and I threw mugs on the wheel.  The boys made a huge leaf pile and had fun playing in it.  We watched Angry birds this evening and had popcorn pop and ice cream.
