Eli is goalie!

Adam had a soccer game this morning at 10:00.   We went home and worked on cleaning Jared's workshop.  Nana came to Eli's soccer game at 4:00.  Eli was goalie during the second half.  Nik came over for a couple hours and the boys played in the sand.

Amish auction

Our new extractor

Jared took the day off work today and went to the amish auction.  After work I headed there for a couple hours.  Jared had won the bid on a trash pump just like ours for $25.  We also got a 3 frame honey extractor for $35.  It was a beautiful day today.  I left so I could get home before the boys got off the bus.  Adam was relieved to see I was home.  He worries about us when we are gone.  Eli and Adam had soccer practice this evening.  I stayed home with Jacob and worked on cleaning the extractor.

4-19-18

When I got home from work today I worked on cleaning he boys closet.  This evening Jacob had his first rehearsal with the Midland concert band.  He will be rehearsing with them every Thursday for the next 5 weeks.  On May 20th he will be joining them for a song in their concert.  After dropping him off at the Dow High school we went to Salvation army, Goodwill, and the pet store.  We also stopped at Tim Horton's for a cappuccino. The boys got to pet a bunny at the pet store.

4-18-18

I picked Adam and Eli up from school today and we headed to the soccer complex store to get Adam a new soccer shirt.  We stopped at Walmart, Meijer, and TSC before heading home.  Jared picked Jacob up from Jazz band and they went to McDonalds for goodies.  Adam and Eli wrestled with Daddy and Adam was ready to jump in the pond afterwards.  Jacob spent the evening reading another Louie Lamore book.  Eli played in the tub until bedtime.

4-17-18

New shelves

Just before leaving for school Eli noticed that the sheep were loose.  Jacob helped me get them back into the barn.  They sure had a mess in the grain room.  Jared and I hung shelves in the boys bathroom made from pallet wood.

4-16-19

No school today because of the weather.  Jared said the roads were ok this morning so around 9:30 we headed to my parents house to spend the day.  Vikki and the kids also came over.  We had a nice day together.  Jacob had a 2:00 dentist appointment and we stopped at McDonalds afterwards for goodies.  Mom had to leave just before 4:00 and Vikki and I stayed until 5:30.  We stopped at meijer for groceries on the way home.

4-15-18

Church was canceled today because of the weather.  We watched Dick van Dyke this morning.  Jared and I did some trimming on pots and Jared made handles for his mugs.  We stayed home today and made freezer pizza's for lunch.  Nik came over and the boys played outside for awhile and then came in for some hot chocolate.  Jacob lay in his bed and did some reading.  Adam and Eli played with legos.  This evening we had popcorn, pop and ice cream and watched Despicable Me 3 and Dick van Dyke.
