Today Eli stayed with Nana while I went grocery shopping. When I came back Eli was excited to show me the sticker book Nana had gotten for the boys. Vikki came over with the babies. Tonight we had a sleep out with the boys and watched Honey, I shrunk the Kids.

The Titanic

Yesterday one of our ewes was "in heat" and the ram pushed on the fence and really messed it up. The goat got over it and was in with the ewes. We fixed the fence and nailed it really good to the posts. Well another sheep was "in heat" today and the ram was ramming the fence. I could hear him hitting the fence from the house. So I locked the ewes in the stall until Jared came home from work. We had used up all the fence nails yesterday. Jared came home from work early and stopped for fence supplies on his way home. We worked on putting up an electric fence in the rams paddock. Vikki, Kenzie, and the babies came over to visit. We worked on the fence until it was time to make dinner. Kenzie and Jacob were working on homework at the table. Jacob likes his pencils very sharp when writing. I was telling him that I had sharpened all the pencils today when Kenzie pulled out a mechanical pencil and gave it to him. That made him very happy. The boys had soccer practice this evening.

The boys are dressed for Pirates Day at school. They loved dressing up for this day!

This evening I took Adam to his soccer practice and Jared took Jacob to a cubscout meeting.

Adam's tooth was really loose after his practice. In the van he started wiggling it and pulled it out. He was very excited! At home he wanted me to write two notes. He stuck one on the wall by his bed saying he lost his tooth. The other note was for the tooth fairy saying he lost his first tooth and asking if he could keep it. He signed the note.


Jared is the den leader of the pack again this year.

Nana and Papa came over for a visit this afternoon. Nana helped us can tomato juice.
