Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  Adam slept in until around 9:00.  It was very windy today.  Jared took Adam to Reagan's house.  Soccer friend were meeting there.  They walked to the park to play soccer. Before going there Adam drove around to get some driving time in.  I'm glad his head is feeling good enough to start practicing driving again.  I worked on adding compost to the flower beds.  When Jared got back he helped me.  We dug sand out from behind the house and replace it with compost.  Jared and I went in and watched Little house on the Prairie and ate a late lunch.  Jared went to town to pick up Adam at 5:30.  Adam had a futsal game at 8:00.  It was their last game of the season.  Nana and Papa came to see the game and Hope came too.  The team played hard.  As we were leaving Adam pored his ice water over his head.  Burr!  He said it felt good.  Eli is spending another night at Aunt Missy's house.  We watched the Lego batman movie with Adam.

Got to my parents house around 9:45.  Mom made me a yummy cappuccino.  We had a nice visit and listened to a podcast.  Kenzie facetimed us and we got to talk to Rehvyn.  He's 3 months old now and smiles alot.  I had Peanut butter and jelly for lunch and Mom had some stinky sour kraut.   She lit a wax melter to help with the smell.  Hailey came over around 12:30 and soon Melissa got there too.  I sewed some curtains for Moms camper.  I also sewed a vest for Hailey and Evan's stuffed guinea pig.  Jared picked the boys up from school so I could stay a little longer.  Eli stayed after school for jazz band pizza party.  Jared and I worked on digging out the sand around the plants by the front of the house.  We replaced it with compost.  The compost was hot and steaming.   The chickens really are going to miss the sand.  Jared picked up Hope and took her and Adam to the community center to swim.  They walked to the park afterwards to play.    Jared took Eli to Freeland to meet Bruce.  He is spending the night at their house tonight.

Wyatt is 6 years old today!
He was spoiled today
Cute card bags from Grandma

Today is Wyatt's 6th birthday.  He was very excited to go for some car rides with me today.  I trimmed pots and then threw some small planters.  Tonight was Jacob's MSU concert.  It was a great concert!  It was a rainy day today.  Jacob said he rode the bus to the theater but realized he'd forgotten some things that he needed so he had to quickly walk back to his dorm.  He walked fast and made it in 24 minutes.  Then he rode his bike back which took him 6 min.  He was really hungry after the concert and didn't even want to go back and change.  We went out to eat at Culvers.  The food was yummy and we had a nice time with Jacob.  Then Jacob and I went into the grocery store to get some snacks for his refrigerator.  We didn't get home until almost midnight.  I got some really cute bags in the mail today from Grandma!   I love them!  Thank you!!

This morning I cleaned Jared's shrimp tank.  Then I made some planters on the wheel.  It was a beautiful day today.  I worked outside in the flower beds.  Adam went to Meridian's last girls basketball game this evening and had a lot of fun.  Hope brought him home after the game.  Eli went to youth group and had fun playing basketball with friends after.  We ate warm pretzels and watched The A-team.

Our internet was down this morning.  It came on after Jared left so I was able to pack up a pottery order before leaving with Eli.  This morning  I trimmed mugs and spoon rests.  The mugs are heavy and have double handles.  Eli had a jazz concert tonight.  Nana and Papa came to the concert.  The 5th, 6th, and 7th graders also played.  After the concert we went to McDonalds with Nana and Papa. They were very busy.  Jared and I shared a strawberry shake.  Papa gave Eli a pen which is also a little switchblade knife.  He was pretty excited about it.  Thanks Papa!

3/11/24

Jared and I had several mug orders to package this morning.  It was chilly this morning but warmed up when the sun came out.  Today I made heavy mugs on the wheel that will have double handles.  I got a request for one for a father with hand tremors.  I figured others might want heavy double handles for similar reasons so I made 10 of them.  I also made some spoon rest.  Picked up the boys for school and stopped at the dollar store for drinks. I played some bedwars with Eli and Evan.  Jared helped me make freezer jelly this evening.  After dinner Jared and I played a couple games of 3-13.  I won both games.
