3/10/24

 There was snow on the ground this morning and the roads were a little slick.  After church we went shopping.  Picked up pizza's for lunch.  Adam went to Reagans house from his futsal team because they were getting together before their last game.  He had fun.  Eli had fun playing Minecraft with Jack and Evan.   We had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched The A-team.

Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies. I made some brownies because Adam said Hope would really like that.  Jacob messaged me that he was sick and had a high fever.   Soon after Jared got back we headed to Blue Thumb for a fish swap.  We had fun looking around and bought some guppy's and some chili rasboras.  Then we walked around the store and got some amino shrimp.  The place sure was busy.  When we got home we started to drip acclimate the shrimp.  We got 3 more for each tank.  Jared and Adam left to pick up Hope.  She is coming over to watch all three Car's movies.  I made some popcorn on the stove.  and we also had some banana bread.  After the first movie we grilled hot dogs and made fries for dinner.  After the second movie the kids and Jared had fun playing taco cat goats cheese pizza.  When all three movies were over Adam, Hope and Eli played a game together on their phones.  Jared and I played 3-13.  It was a close game but I won.  Jared and Adam took Hope home after our game was done.

3/8/24

Adam's desk is finished.  

Adam was asked to be goalie or sit out this game because they were playing little kids.

Jared has a fish with swim bladder the we are trying to treat.  I made her some peas and fed her this morning.  She doesn't seem to be improving.  Did some cleaning and then headed to my parents house.  I sewed some favorite jeans of Rody's that had a large rip in them.  Then I took some long pieces of Velcros off some curtain material that Mom had in her camper.  Mom made us some yummy pb&j sandwiches for lunch and we had Cheetos.  We met Melissa at Walmart to do some shopping. We also went to the pet store to get dog treats for Wyatt.  Back at Mom's Vikki had just got there.  I only had a few min and then left to get the boys from school.  Worked on cleaning the house at home.  Adam had 2 futsal games this evening, starting at 7.  The firsts game was against some 11 year olds. They may have been small but they were tough.  The lady that runs the futsal told Adam he had to not play or play goalie.  She didn't want the little kids to get hurt.  She thanked Adam for playing goalie.  We lost both games but they were fun to watch. We were missing some players today.

I took Eli to school and dropped off a package off at the post office.  Made some yummy oatmeal for breakfast.  I trimmed my spoon rests and then trimmed the bowls.  I ruined one bowl while trimming the foot.  These bowls are soup bowls with handles.  Adam has been wanted his desk to be painted black.  This evening he took apart the desk in his room so it could be painted.  Jared picked up some black paint on his way home.  Adam went swimming with Hope and her sister at the community center.

Eli's Mocha frappe 

Bald eagles in the field on the way home from school.  There were two but you can't see the other one.

 I tested fish tanks and did water changes on the tanks that needed it.  Made soup bowls and spoon rests on the wheel.  After picking Adam up from school we went to TSC for seeds. I got some lettuce seeds and wildflower seeds.  Eli had jazz band practice after school.  I picked him up at 4:00 and we went to McDonald's for a treat.    The boys had youth group this evening.  After youth group we dropped Adam off at the community center to meet Hope and her sister.  They worked out in the gym.

It was a rainy morning.  Jacob said it was raining in Lansing too.  Today I trimmed mugs and added handles. Some of the mugs were made with double handles.  Jared's platy fish has swim bladder so I separated it and will try to treat it.  Poor thing can only float belly up.  Adam was feeling really dizzy at school today and wanted to be picked up.  He decided he could make it the rest of the day. I brought him a sandwich and a frappe when I picked him up.  He was feeling better.   Jared picked up some groceries on his way home from work.  After dinner the boys played mincraft.  Jared and I played 3-13 and Jared won.  It came down to whoever went out in the A's round.  He was happy.  We watched The A-team before bed.  After Eli was in bed I hear a loud crash in his room.  He was climbing back out of his bed and hung onto the shelf that holds some big Star Wars lego sets.  The shelf and legos came down. 

3/4/24

 I made mugs on the wheel today, big and small ones.  Going to make some of them into double handled mugs I think.  I dropped Adam off at Meridian high school and Hope took him home.  They went to the gas station to get drinks after school.  When Jared got home from work we sat out on the deck.  We saw a couple robins and heard them too!   Jared and I played a couple games of 3-13.  I won the first and Jared won the second game by alot.  After dinner we watched The A-team. The spring peepers were loud tonight.  Adam thought they were birds and stepped out onto the deck to hear them.  They were all suddenly silent until he came back inside.
