Adam had a therapy appointment at 7:30. The therapist said she is seeing some improvements already! He is remembering a little better and recovering from being dizzy a little quicker. After this appointment we had an appointment in Mt Pleasant with Dr Pinney (the concussion specialist). He also noticed some improvements. We let him know that Adam had stopped taking the medication for his head and Adam told him why. He is recommending that Adam sees a sport physcologyst. We talked about other medication. Adam is just taking ibprofen but that's not a good one as it can prolong headaches. Jared and I drove separately because Jared had a meeting at work and didn't know if he would have to leave early. I took Adam to apple bagel. I got a plain bagel and Adam got a cinnamon raisin. Vikki and the kids came over this afternoon. We worked on making a thank you card box for addresses and a jar for pictures. Then we worked on making cookies and cupcakes. I finished the cupcakes after she left. Eli is spending the next couple nights with Aunt Bippi because he wants to go to their youth group. Tomorrow we are going to be in Lansing with Jacob. Jared sat out to watch for the fox. He saw a couple young foxes playing in the neighbors driveway. Also a young skunk came up to Jared. He was sitting by the propane tank. Yikes! Jacob drove himself to his clarinet lesson in Bay city. He is doing a good job driving.

I took Jacob to his 9:50 orthodontist appointment this morning. Then we went to Kohl's to exchange a birthday shirt that didn't fit. He picked out a MSU hat instead. Vikki, Kenzie and the kids came over. Kenzie and Vikki left after awhile to go to Kenzie's dr appointment. We had sandwiches and salads for lunch. We played a game of skipbo. It was boys vs girls. Jacob, Eli and Isaac vs Vikki, Kenzie and I. The boys won. This evening Adam had his first soccer practice with the school team. Jared dropped me off at Costco and he went to a 4H sign up for the boys. He picked me up and we went to Coney and Cones to get soft serve ice cream cones. We walked around the neighborhood until Adam's practice was done. When we got home there were some foxes playing at the end of our driveway. Jared sat outside for a while to see if the foxes came back. We played bedwars with the boys.

There were donuts for breakfast this morning. Then Jared opened his Father's Day gift and cards. The boys picked him out some great cards. Adam got him a get well soon card, haha. Adam stopped taking his prescribed medicine because it was affecting his thoughts and giving him anxiety. He decided to just take ibuprofen for his headaches. Even Jacob got a Father's Day gift from our church, since he's 18. They got some bacon, bacon jam and a dogtag necklace. We stopped at Meijer for a few things on the way home. This afternoon we headed to my parent house to spend the day with family. Mom made sloppy Jo's for lunch. Adam spent some time working out in the basement on the bike and treadmill. The kids had a great time in the pool. Jared and Jack played a couple games of ping pong. They were close but Uncle Jared won. This evening was Jacob's concert with the Saginaw Eddy band. It was a great concert. The weather was perfect for an outdoor concert.

I stayed up late last night so it felt nice to sleep in this morning. I enjoyed drinking my coffee while watching the birds. I saw a bunch of finches, some orioles, and the rose breasted grosbeak. The Bluejays were here too. I spent much of the day outside working in the flower beds. I mowed the lawn until I ran out of gas. There was a snake eating a toad. I saved the toad. I just couldn't stand seeing it trying so hard to get away. Eli was happy I saved it. Poor snake will have to find another victim. Oh well. When Jared got home we went to my parents house. Dad was working on taking out the lilac bush so we helped him finish what was left. He sure had done a lot. We trimmed the cute tree next to it too and then trimmed Mom's weeping tree. There were a lot of dead branches to trim. We really did a number on it. It needed that because it was growing into the siding of the house. Eli went to "water day" at Peyton and Isaacs church tonight. They had fun. He went swimming in the pool when he got back. Nana was gone and got back around 8:45. We got to visit with her for a little while before we left. There were some foxes on the side of our road when we got home. We locked up the chickens.
