Eli was up early and watched tv for awhile and then read his book.  He played with legos in his bedroom. Jacob woke up around noon and Adam slept in until 12:30!  Wow they were tired.  The boys helped me with some cleaning the house today. It was a hot day, high 80's.  The humidity was low and it was windy.  I sat on the deck and it felt nice.  Adam set up his hammock in the woods and stayed out there for a long time.  We got some hard gusts of wind.  It almost tipped the table over and the umbrella was closed.  The wind chime sounded pretty.  The power went out for a few hours.  Jacob and Eli came to sit outside.  When Jared got home from work he came out too.  After dinner we headed into town to take Adam to soccer practice.  Then we took Jacob to his clarinet lesson with some clarinet players from the midland concert band.   We went to tsc to pick up my dad's Father's Day gift.  We had went in together with my sisters and mom on a two wheel wheel barrel.  I picked it up at the midland tsc.  It had been sitting outside and was dented and rusty.  We returned it and went to Home Depot.  They didn't have any so we headed to Lowes.  We found a nice one there.  We picked up Adam and then Jacob around 9pm and headed home.  Eli and I made up some bug spray with a solution from tsc.  We took it out and sprayed Bo.  The flies were really bite him.  We watched the new Obi wan.

The kids were up early and had donuts.  After awhile I made scrambled eggs and bacon.  They played outside and watched tv.  I watered the flowers and the garden.  The kids played Minecraft.  We gave Bo a bath and he loved it.  Got to Nana's at 11:30.  Vikki and the kids met us there.  We went swimming and the kids spent alot of time in the pool.  Mom made fried rice and brocolli and pizza for lunch.  It went fast.  I also made some kids peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  Peyton's friend Lilly came over too.  Melissa came over for awhile and so did Bruce and Max.  I sewed Max's favorite shirt.  We had fun relaxing in the shade on this hot day.  We to Best Buy because Jacob wanted to look at an iPad.  Stopped for drinks at McDonalds on the way home.  The van was hot because our AC isn't working.  We dropped Adam off at soccer practice.  It was 95 degrees!  Jacob practiced his instrument.  We went back to picked Adam up.  His practice was done at 9:00.  We got there early to watched his practice.

We got to my parents house around 8am.  Vikki and the kids were there.  Nana went in the house to work on cleaning and Vikki, Adam and I worked on spreading mulch in the flower beds around the house.  Jacob helped Papa with some jobs.  Then the boys helped Vikki and I take apart the brick fire pit.  We leveled the bricks and put it back together.  Mom, Dad and the boys worked on emptying out the garage and cleaning it.  Hailey came over to help too.  Vikki, Mom and I weeded the garden and then Dad tilled the rows.  It was a hot job in the sun.  We took a break. Vikki and I were sitting on the swing.  Mom brought us water to soak our feet and then also brought us lunch and drinks.  She had made egg salad sandwiches.  We put things back in the garage and scrubbed walls.  The kids had fun in the pool.  Later Melissa and the boys came over.  Jack and Peyton came home to spend the night with us.  Jacob, Adam and Evan went home with Aunt Bippi.  When we got home the kids went out in the paddock to see Bo.  We made pizza's for dinner.  Peyton's foot got stepped on by Bo.  She played a few games on Uno Flip with me and Uncle Jared.  Eli and Jack played outside with Jack's light saber and went on a bike ride.  We then had a fun nerf battle.  It was Jack and Eli vs Jared, Peyton and I. When the game was done we cleaned up and went outside to sit by the fire and had s'mores.  We watched Zootopia.

The boys were up early and watched tv.  They started working with their 4H sheep this morning.  They were jumpy and fell down alot but soon they figured out how to lead.  We usually start them on the fence but they all had diarrhea because Adam misunderstood me on how much grain  to feed.  We will stop feeding grain until their diarrhea stops.  Eli and Jacob cleaned the stalls.   Jacob and Adam went for a long bike ride.  Eli and I sat on the deck and listened to birds using the Merlin app.  We went out to the swing and started a little fire.  We took a walk in the woods.  When Jacob and Adam came out to see us by the fire.  They had both bought energy drinks at the store.  Jacob let Eli and I try his.  I didn't like it.  Eli thought it was pretty good.  Adam, Eli and I took some packages to the post office.  The boys watched some tv and Adam played minecraft.  We went out in the woods and set up the hammocks.  It was nice and relaxing.  Jacob played some great music for us to listen too.  Adam was reading a book a fell asleep.  There was a tree frog in one of the trees we were tied to. It started to sprinkle and rain was coming so we went inside.  When Jared came home from work we played a game of 3-13.  He won by 6 points.  Adam had his first soccer practice with Midland high this evening.  He took his ball which he didn't end up needing but it got stollen.  This is the second time his ball has been stollen.  Eli came with me.  It was raining.  I took Eli to Barnes and Noble because he wanted to buy a couple books.  We went to McDonalds and he got a pop. When we got back to Midland High we took a walk.  Eli and I played a game with a quarter.  He picked tails and I picked heads and Eli flipped the coin over and over.  We each got a point for our chose and first one to 21 won.  We played that game over and over.  Eli was so funny.  Adam got a drink on the way home.  He sure had a great time and knows so many kids on the team.  The girls practice with them in the summer and he knows lots of them too.  Jared took Jacob to his clarinet practice which has been moved to Mondays at 8:30.

After church we went grocery shopping.  Jared took Adam to Dunhams to get some new soccer cleats.  His first soccer practice with Midland high school is tomorrow.  At home we put groceries away ate lunch.  Then we headed to Saginaw for Hailey's graduation.  We sat in bleachers at the top and right by the AC.  It felt so nice and cool. We sure enjoyed watching the graduation.  We are so proud of Hailey!  We went to my parents house afterwards.  Peyton rode with us.  We worked on leveling and relaying the bricks around my parents maple tree.  They were all leaning and falling over.  We then sat in the shade on the deck.  Eli, Adam Peyton and Isaac went swimming.  We got home around 8:00.  Jacob practiced his instrument.  We watched Heartland and had popcorn  pop and ice cream.  Jacob came out after practicing to have his.

6/11/22

Jared went to town to get our Sat goodies.  I went to the post office to pick up Jacob's clarinet and music stand that we ordered.  It was used off Facebook marketplace.  He doesn't want to use his good clarinet  for marching band and really wanted a plastic one.  We found a nice Yamaha and ordered it.  Jacob tried it right away and it works perfectly.  I thought something would need fixed on it.  It was only $50 for that and the stand.  Eli really liked the stand so he got that.   Adam mowed the lawn and we worked on things in the yard.  Jacob did some weedwacking.  Jared took down a large dead ash tree that was by the pond.  It had three large trunks.  The first tree came down on the fence and pushed the t-post far into the ground.  The second tree came down on the fence between the t-posts.  The last tree we thought might go in the pond so we talked about waiting but decided to try downing it towards the tree.  We thought it might get hung up in some small aspen trees.  I told Jared that maybe we should just take down the aspen tree before it got hung up in it.  He said he really liked the tree and thought it would just brush it but not get hung up.  That tree came down and uprooted the tree Jared liked so much and broke another tree about halfway up.  We got a good laugh about it because Jared was being funny about his last minute decision to take it out.  It was really funny.  We spent a few hours cleaning up the trees.  I started a fire so we could burn all the branches.  Jacob saw a hole in the tree and was poking a stick in it.  Later we found out that in that hole are baby yellow bellied sapsuckers.  We came inside and ate a late lunch.  A little while later we went to Culvers to get concrete mixers.  At home Jared and I sat on the swing and called Grandma and Grandpa.  We sat outside for a long time and took a walk in the woods.  Eli came out to site by the swing with us.  It started raining but didn't last too long. A little while later it got really windy and downpoured.  It came down so hard it broke our biggest hibiscus branch.  Bummer!
