11/14/2020

We went to Apple Bagel and Tim Horton's for our Sat goodies.  Also stopped at the gas station to get drinks for the boys.  They were out of the choc milk that Jacob usually gets so he decided to get lemonade.  They didn't have lemonade there so we had to stop a a few different gas stations to find some.  Eli had to be at the soccer field by 9:30 for his 10:00 game.  It was cold and windy.  We set up the sunbrella which blocked the wind and helped alot.  Eli's team played hard but lost 1-0.  The coach handed out goodie bags and certificates to the kids.  Stopped at Dunhams to get Adam new soccer cleats.  At home we packed up a pottery order.  Went to the post office and then headed back to the soccer field for Adam's game.  His game started at 2:00.  There was a different coach covering for Pastor Scott as he is still in quarantine. Today we were missing a few of our good players and only had one sub.  The other team had 6 subs.  The other team won 3-0.  They scored 3 in the first half and none in the second.  Our team played hard.  At home we all worked on cleaning the van.  The boys played minecraft. 

11/13/2020

 The boys had off school today.  It was supposed to be a half day with conferences.  Today they are cleaning the schools.  Jacob had some virtual learning to do which he did last night.  He had a zoom meeting at 10:00 so he brought his school computer to Nana's.  Vikki and the kids came over after they finished school at home.  Mom showed me how her kitchen faucet hot water had low pressure.  Dad called to say he was at Menard's and found a nice faucet he wanted to buy.  I looked up a YouTube video and thought we could fix it so Mom told Dad not to get it.  When Dad got back we tried the YouTube fix and it worked!  The boys went out to the shed with Papa to help him get his snowplow put on his tractor.  Mom made pizza rolls and burger buns for lunch.  She made me a plain roll I used it to make a yummy turkey sandwich.  A old water leak had damaged Mom's ceiling divider between her family room and dining room.  We scraped and spackled it so it looks nice.  Mom will paint it tomorrow.  Dad, Jacob and Adam played 3-13 and Jacob won.  Jacob and Dad were close with a low score and Adam had a really high score.  Jacob hooked his computer up to the tv so he could show Aunt Bippi and Nana their minecraft world.  Got home around 6pm and Jared had dinner made.  Watched Mandolorian and then the boys played minecraft with Nik.

After dropping the boys off at school I went to the Elementary to meet Connie.  Connie bought one of our yarn bowls.  She gave us some yummy no baked cookies and got me a coffee from McDonalds.   She also got Eli a couple bags of skittles.  She's so sweet.  Today I worked on taking pictures and posting them to etsy. We played a game of soccer with the boys and we won! The score was 3-2.

I had a bunch of mugs to trim and put handles on today.  Eli had his last soccer practice this evening.  After dinner Jared and I unloaded the kiln.  Some pieces had glaze run onto the shelf.  We took notes so we know what not to do next time.  Peyton's mug was sitting on a stilt.  It tipped over onto a bowl and they stuck to each other and it stuck to the shelf.  I was able to break them apart and grind Peyton's mugs.

We loaded the kiln this morning.  I made a bunch of mugs today.  I'm trying to get rid of this awful white clay.  It's hard to throw, hard to clean up and makes a mess.  Jared worked from home but didn't have time to throw anything.  We sold a couple mugs so I stopped at the post office on my way to school.  Adam made some stop motion videos today.  Jacob let him use a bunch of his legos.  When Jared finished work we went outside and played a soccer game.  Adam and Jacob won.  Jared and I peeled and cut up carrots to put in the freezer.

The alarm didn't go off this morning so we woke up about 30 min late.  Today I worked on cropping and uploading new pictures to Etsy.  We glazed pottery this evening.  Took a break so we could play soccer with the boys.  Jacob had some homework.  He's taking a Geodesign class which he loves.  Soccer practice was canceled.  Pastor Scotts coworker does have Covid so Pastor Scott is in quarantine for another 8 days.  We aren't sure what is going to happen with the rest of the soccer season.  The last game is Saturday and we were hoping to make up the game missed last Saturday.  Loading the kiln in the morning.  Yay!

After church we played soccer with the boys.  Adam and Jacob won 12-9.  The game started out 5-0 with us in the lead.  Eli does a great job in goal.  We went to town for groceries and pizza.  We took some new pottery pictures.  The boys and Jared were such a big help.  The boys played minecraft with Nik.  This evening we had popcorn pop and ice cream and watched Full House and Three Stooges.  The boys were laughing so hard during Three Stooges.  There is another Covid case at the High School.
