The boys were up early.  We had our Sat goodies and watched Dukes of Hazard.  This morning we sheared the boys 4H sheep.  Eli's sheep got loose and the three of us had him corner at the back of the barn.  He decided to try and go right over my head.  His knee knocked me in the head - ouch!  Jacob's sheep was last.  Jacob didn't want to wait until I was out of the shower so he hosed down outside.  We took a walk in the woods and sat on the swing.  It was a hot and windy day.  Adam mowed the lawn and was ready to go swimming after it was done.  We all went swimming and had a lot of fun.  Around 3:30 we headed to Nana and Papa's to celebrate Father's day.  We set up chairs under the shade tree.  Bruce grilled hotdogs and we all brought our own buns, condiments, drinks, and chips.  It was hot when we got there but it cooled down and felt nice.  Mom had ice cream cones or ice cream sandwiches for dessert.  We had a great time visiting.  The boys joined to play minecraft.  Jacob and Max dug some holes for Papa.  Then Vikki, Jared and I dug a couple holes.  The holes had to be 3 feet down and wide enough to fit a cement block.  It was hard digging so Vikki Jared and I took turns and got two holes dug.  Jacob got three dug by himself.  We got home around 10:00.

I shaved Wyatt this morning.  We set up his grooming table on the deck so I could work outside.  Jacob found a stick and sat on the glider to whittle.  Adam walked up and down the road.  Jacob and Adam played some chess.  Eli played inside with legos.  He brought out some water for Wyatt because it was getting very warm.  We watched a Little House while eating lunch.  This afternoon we went swimming.  Then I got out and took a walk in the woods.  When the boys got out we made ice cream cones.  Adam and I played chess.  After work Jared tilled the rows in the garden and I hoed.  Adam and Daddy played several games of chess.  This evening we worked on spraying weeds in the woods.  Eli drove the tractor again.  Adam and Jacob walked up and down the road.  They said the neighbor's rooster chased them.  We played 3-13 and Eli won.

I worked on thinning the corn this morning.  We had planted extra seeds.  Then I took a walk in the woods.  Adam walked up and down the road.  We played chess with Adam.  Then Adam, Jacob and I played 3-13 and I won.  Jared and I took a walk in the woods before lunch.  We saw the little turtle sitting on a log in the pond.  The boys came out to see the turtle.  We watched a Little House.  Then we took a trip into town to get a pool vacuum hose.  The first two store I went to didn't have any.  We stopped at the pool store and got one.  They didn't know how I could hook one up to our skimmer and they tried to sell me some expensive vacuums.  I told them I wanted to just find some way to rig a hose up to our skimmer.  I walked around the store and got a hose and an adapter piece. I already had the vacuum.  At home we tried it and it works perfect.  We went swimming and Daddy joined us when he was done with work.  We had ice cream cones after our swim.  Then we took a walk in the woods.  We worked on spraying weeds in the woods until a part on the sprayer broke.  Jared pulled the plug out and it was melting and burned his hand.  After dinner he went to tsc to get a new part for the sprayer.  This evening we continued spraying weeds in the woods.  Eli drove the tractor for us. He loved driving it.  Adam and Jacob walked up and down the road to get steps.  The boys worked with their sheep before we went inside.  We played 3-13 and I won.

Adam and I played some games of chess on the deck this morning.  This afternoon we went to Bay City meijer to get Jared his Father's day present because its out of stock everywhere.  He is getting a Fitbit versa 2 watch.  I drove home so he could set up his new watch.  At home I gave the boys haircuts which I finished just after Jared was done with work.  Jared and Adam played chess.  I headed to the store for groceries  After dinner we took a walk in the woods.  We played 3-13 and Jared won.  He was behind most of the game but stuck us in the last couple rounds.

Eli helped me stain the swing stand this morning.  Adam came out and wanted to help put on the second coat.  We finished just before lunch.  I made the boys ice cream cones after lunch.  We played chess with Adam.  He won against Jacob 3 times.  I won our first game and he won in 4 moves for the second game.  Daddy and him played several games today too.  I worked on staining the outdoor chairs but I ran out of stain.  We went swimming with the boys.  Then Jared went to Home depot for more stain and we finished the second chair.  We also painted the double basin white with some leftover paint we had.  The boys watched little House and then played minecraft.  We played a game of 3-13 and Daddy won.

The boys carried up the furniture from the woods so I could power wash it.  We played chess at lunchtime.  I stained the little bench this afternoon.  Jared got home from work early and we went swimming with the boys.  The water was cold - burr.  We set our hammocks up in the woods and relaxed out there.  Adam brought over the fire pit so we could start a little fire.  After dinner Jared and I stained the swing. We played a game of 3-13 and I won.

6/14/2020

After church we took a walk around the yard and by the garden.  Eli fell asleep and got a good nap in the chair.  Adam and Jacob took a walk down the road.  Jared sprayed weeds in the ditch and out in the paddock.  I cleaned the deck to get it ready for staining.  Jared and I stained until lunchtime.  After lunch we stained the sides of the deck.  It looks very nice.  Adam and Jacob played some games of chess.  Eli loves to run around the yard with Wyatt.  We took a walk in the woods.  We had popcorn, pop, and ice cream and watched a marvel movie tonight.  We sat by the fire this evening.  Adam and Eli played many games of chess.  Then Daddy and Adam played.
