4/11/2020

There was banana bread, donuts, choc milk and coffee this morning.  The boys watched tv and then I read Little House.  Then the boys worked on their sand fort.  We took a walk down to get the mail with Adam.  Then we decided to work on clearing the ditch down our road.  It was a big job which took many hours.  The neighbor came and hauled away a couple loads with his tractor.  We moved most of it to our garden and had a big fire. We worked past lunch so I went to the house and made a couple pizzas.  We had pizza and pop on the side of the road.  Everyone was working so hard.  The boys and Daddy then relaxed in the house and played minecraft.  I called to talk to Mom.  We ate dinner late and watched tv while eating.  We watched Tim Hawkins.  I read Little House and Daddy read the bible before bed.

Pastor Scott and Miss Emma

We slept in until around 8:30 this morning.  The boys were watching tv when we got up.  It was cold and windy today.   Adam went out to work in the sand.  Jacob did some reading.  Eli, Daddy and I played several games of Sequence.  This afternoon Pastor Scott and Miss Emma stopped by to visit.  The left a goody bag on the deck for the boys and we visited through the screen door.  They were so sweet and we all enjoyed their visit!  Later the boys colored Easter eggs.  There were only five colors and we had 2 dozen eggs to color so I sat a the table and read to them from Little House.  They shared the colors while listening to me read.  After dinner Adam and Jacob went out to work in the sand.  Eli helped Jared and I make banana bread.  The boys were out there until it was dark.  We went out to see how it was coming.  Jacob made some nice steps.  I read some more from Little House and we read the bible before bed.

After reading to the boys this morning they decided they wanted to go out to work on their sand fort.  The boys came in for a quick lunch and then went back out to work in the sand.  Jared and I played a couple games of Sequence during his lunch.  The boys worked on school work this afternoon.  We went to town to get a few groceries. Mom and Dad met us in the parking lot and put an Easter surprise in the back of our van.  Jared decided to take the rest of the day off work.  We played several games of Sequence with Jacob and Adam.  It snowed today and even hailed a couple times.  The boys went out to work in the sand until dinnertime and then again after dinner. We had taco's for dinner.  Jared and I played some more Sequence.  This evening we watched a Christian comedian, Tim Hawkins.  We sure had a lot of laughs.  We went out with the boys to see their sand fort.  Jacob said, "we are having alot of fun work with lots of talking."

4/8/2020

Eli and Adam woke up Jacob so they could watch some tv.  The little bottle fed lamb has gained almost 10 lbs. He is over 2 months old and I’m hoping to stop feeding him soon. He’s a pain to catch and doesnt love to eat. He’s still small so we will see. The other lamb comes running and jumps on me. He downs his bottle so quick. We read until a little after 11:00. Then we played several games of Sequence. Adam and Jacob's team won the first few games and Eli and I couldnt even get one sequence. We won the last game. I joked with them that we had to keep playing until we had a win. The boys went out to play on the sandhill and came in for a late lunch. We talked about fun memories from Copper Harbor. They went back out to play in the sand after eating. It was a beautiful day today. The consumers came and took down and trimmed trees by our road. The boys came in and worked on school work.  Eli and I played a game of Sequence. We took a walk in the woods and saw lots of goldfish in the pond.  The boys went inside to play minecraft with Daddy. After dinner the boys headed up to the sandhill.  Jared built a fire and we sat on the swing.  It sprinkled and was a little windy but felt nice. The neighbor kids walked by and we waved at them.  They yelled and waved to Eli.  After a while we went in because it started raining a little harder.  Jared and I played a few games of Sequence.  Adam came in as asked if we wanted to come see what they were working on.  After the boys were in bed I called and talked to Nana.  

4/7/2020

The boys slept in a little this morning.  After some tv I read to the boys.  I only could read one chapter before Adam had to be to a Zoom school meeting at 10:00.  Eli said, "I feels like you only read one chapter."  The meeting didn't take long and we continued reading until lunchtime. After lunch we played Sequence.  Eli and I were on a team.  We didn't win but there was some illegal table talk going on with the other two.  Haha.  It was a rainy day today.  When the rain stopped we went for a walk outside.  Adam and Eli played in the sand for a little while.  Jacob and Adam did school work on the computer and Eli worked on completing a fraction math paper and practiced the clarinet.  He is sounding really good on his instrument.  Then he did Lexia, Sudies Weekly, IXL, and prodigy when Adam was finished with the computer.  Adam and Jacob then practiced their instruments.  Adam is now also using the TE tuner app when practicing the trombone.  Adam and I played a game of chess and he won. Daddy and Adam played chess and Daddy won.  After dinner the boys all went out to play in the sandhill.  Jared and I played 5 games of Sequence.  The first 4 games were the best because Jared couldn't get one sequence - haha.  So I got 9 sequences before he made his first.  He won the last game.  The boys came in just before it started raining and hailing.  It came down hard but didn't last long.  After showers I read Little House and we finished the third book.  Then we read the bible and tucked the boys in bed.
