Adam gave Eli a ride in the wagon on our walk in the woods. Then he and Jacob thought it would be funny to leave him in the middle of the deep water. Haha, they didn't leave him there too long. The boys helped move a big pile of wood.

Taking a walk in the woods. Adam dared Jacob to jump over the water to the bench. He got a huge running started and jumped. His heal sunk in the mud but he made it. We laughed when he could get a running start to jump back. His foot went right in the middle of the water on the way back. Haha
Jared's work wants them to work from home as much as possible. He set up at the desk in our bedroom.

We had to bury Wilma today:(
Happy 2 years Wyatt!!
He's such a great dog!! We love him!!
We are getting a new paddock ready for the ram and Han. We had some tree trimming to do first. We started the pile on fire.
We moved our catch pen and changed the direction of how the gate opens to this paddock.

Our Governor ordered school's closed for 3 weeks due to the COVID-19 virus. That starts on Monday. I decided to go the the store for groceries after getting the boys from school. There were so many empty shelves! We got what we needed and headed home.

This is how I found Grace and her new lamb when I got home from work.
A healthy girl weighing 12.6 lbs
Eli wanted a picture with his new book from the book fair.
Wilma barely could stand this morning. Adam helped me as I treated her again this morning. As soon as we stood her up her lamb started nursing. Jared comes home today. He met me at TSC so we could pick up supplies. We had to get some milk replacer and other supplies. Wilma died this evening. We are so disappointed. She had a lot of nice wool so we sheared her. We worked on teaching her lamb to take a bottle.

Poor Wilma is still sick. This morning I noticed she walked away when I was feeding. Her head was held low. I watched her and she wouldn't let her lamb nurse. I didn't have long before we had to leave for school. I thought she may need calcium so I crushed up some tums and fed it as a paste to her. Adam helped me. She was acting the same when I fed this afternoon. I caught her and put her in a stall. She was showing symptoms of milk fever. I gave her calcium gluconate under the skin in several spots. After 5 hrs of no improvement I dosed her again. And then again around 1am. She wasn't improving and it was super frustrating. I really wished Jared was home. Adam helped me, even at 1am.
