7-6-18

We watched part of a Copper Harbor video this morning.  Eli wanted to watch one from when he was little. The boys took care of their sheep and then we got ready to head to the campground. Vikki and Nana were working on making bracelets and Vikki taught me how to make them so I could help.  Eli, Jack, and Peyton played with legos.  We went for a walk around the campground and Adam walked with us.  Had lunch when we got back and then went swimming.  We helped Vikki put her bracelets on foam noodles for their sale tomorrow.  Eli is staying to spend the night and Isaac is coming home with us.  We stopped at Northwood for a camping rug and Jacob wanted to buy some fishing things.  In the store Isaac went with Jacob and Adam came with me.  We got home around 7:30.  The boys joined together to play on the DS's.  We made a late dinner and ate on the deck.  Then we set up the screen tent.  The cats were being naughty with it so we had to put them in a crate.  The boys walked their sheep and then we went out to sit by the fire.  We made smores.

Made these dryer balls for my Aunt Vikki

We taught Wyatt how "shake" and "drop it" today.  He loves to "shake".  We played a couple games of 3-13 and had fun in the pool.

7-4-18

Jared had the day off work today.  I got up around 7:30 to take Wyatt outside.  Jacob and Adam were watching Garfield.  Soon Jared was up too.  Eli slept in until 9:30.  Jared and I took a walk in the woods with Wyatt.  It was already really warm outside.  I worked with Wyatt on walking nicely on the leash.  When I came in Eli was awake and playing with legos in his room.  Adam and Daddy went into town to take some bags to Salvation army and then they stopped at the store for sparklers.  They also got smoke bombs and pop its.  After lunch we all went for a swim.  We played Adam's game of hiding under the inflatables.  Jared and I took a walk in the woods.  The boys played with legos a lot today.  Daddy and Adam started a game of risk.  This evening we went to the Hope park.  The boys rode scooters and had fun playing.  It was hot and there was a storm in the distance.  At home we sat by a fire in the woods.  The boys had fun with the pop its and smoke bombs and then ran around with sparkers.  They were racing around the woods to see if they could make different loops before the sparkler was done.  Daddy raced around too.  We had a lot of fun.  It sprinkled some while we sat out there but it felt good.  We also made smores.

The boys slept in this morning until around 9:30.  We watched some Garfield while eating breakfast.  I went outside to work on hoeing the garden.  Around 11:30 we headed to the campground to spend the day with Aunt Bippi and Nana and the kids.  Jack was there today too. Nana had went into town with Isaac.   We went swimming and then came back and had lunch.  Vikki worked on making her bracelets.  The kids played with legos in the screen tent.  Nana, Isaac and I went for a quick dip in the pool and then Nana and I took a walk around the campground.  We hung around at the site for awhile and then went for a swim at the lake.  The water was warm.  Around 6:30 we headed home.  Jared was at a park meeting.  Jared and I took a walk in the woods and then worked on packing the trailer.  The boys worked with their sheep.

Adam made up a fun game of hiding under the inflatables.

Wyatt had a vet appointment this morning at 10:00.  We went to Tim Hortons for goodies and then headed home.  We spent alot of time playing in the pool today.  The boys were having fun building bridges to swim under using the inflatables. They also had fun playing inside with legos.  Jared got the lawn mowed this evening.  He has hurt his back again so needs to take it easy.
