Happy Birthday Adam!!!

Adam woke us up at 5am.  I got the coffee made to help me wake up because I’d gotten to sleep at 1:30.  Adam turned on the hallway light to help his brother wake up.  They were up by 5:30 and  Adam was ready to open his presents.  He got a Nintendo 3DS xl, a minecraft DS game, DS case, Calvin and hobbes book, candy, gum, glow sticks and a glow beach ball, gel pens and mechanical pencils.  Adam gave his old ds to Eli and also gave him a few games for it.  Adam worked on setting up his ds and tried the minecraft game on it.  We got ready for school but Adam is staying home with Daddy today.  Its a half day of school today.  Daddy and Adam went into town to get a charging cord for his ds and to look at games.  Then they went to apple bagel for goodies.  They came home and played minecraft on the computer and then played the ds.  I stopped at McDonalds after work to get Adam a chicken nugget meal.  Jacob and Eli got home just after I did.  At around 1:00 we headed into town and stopped at the store so Adam could buy a 3ds Super Mario game. From there we went to the wooden park and spent a couple hours playing. We ate Good Times pizza for an early dinner. Adam said many times today, ”what a day!”  There’s a wooden fence around the park that Jacob had jumped several times. He said, "I love jumping this fence" as he was about to jump. This time he slipped and landed on the back of his leg and then tumbled to the other side.  We all laughed and said we should have gotten it on video.  Eli and Adam have soccer games this evening. Eli’s at 5:30 and Adams at 7:30. Jacob and I went home in between games to take care of Wyatt.  We got home around 9pm.  When we pulled in the driveway Adam said, “This has been such a great day!”  We sang to the birthday boy and had cake/ice cream.  We watched some tv before bed.   It was such a fun day celebrating with our 11 year old.  Adam slept on the floor in our bedroom tonight.

The ball left an imprint on Eli's neck

This evening Adam had soccer practice and Eli had a soccer game.  I took Jacob to band practice and went to watch the first half of Eli's game before heading back to pick up Jacob.  Eli was goalie and took a really hard hit to the face/neck.  Adam is very excited because tomorrow is his birthday.  He stayed up a little late and helped us decorate his birthday cake.

Mom came over after I got out of work today.  We took a walk in the woods and relaxed on the swing.  It was a warm day today.  We went in the house and visited and Wyatt took a nap on his bed.  Took another walk and sat on the swing until the boys came home.  We heard the boys walking home and when Adam noticed Nana's car he said, "Nana!"  Adam and Eli went for a swim in the pond.  Nana had to head home.  Nik came over and the boys played outside with nerf guns.  Jared and I took a walk and then went in to get dinner ready.  After dinner we sat on the deck and Wyatt came out there with us.  He was barking at the cats.

Wyatt slept all night and hasn't had any accidents.  We got up at 5:30 and took him outside.  He isn't eating so we put some chicken broth on his food and he liked that.  We had two subs at work today and I worked Teressa's shift.  Jared came home around 10:00 to check on Wyatt.  He took him outside and then played with him.  Jared said he was being so cute he didn't want to leave.  When I got home I took him for a walk in the woods.  He ate his food with the chicken broth.  Vikki and the kids came over this afternoon and Vikki surprised me with a Starbucks coffee.  She brought Lucy to play with Wyatt. Wyatt wasn't too sure about her at first because she was moving so fast.  We put them in the small pen and they started playing together.  We took a walk in the woods and sat on the swing.  Vikki walked Lucy over by the pond and she jumped in.  Nik came over and the kids played on the deck with magnetix's.  Vikki gave Lucy a bath and a haircut.  Jared replaced the alternator in the honda.  Vikki headed home around 7pm.  Jared and I took a walk in the woods with Wyatt and sat on the swing.
