Happy Mother's Day!

This morning I woke up to tons of lilacs all over the house.  Adam had woke Daddy up early so they could go out and pick them.  They also had a cup of coffee all ready for me just the way I like it.  The boys gave me some great hand made cards and gifts.  I got socks with starbursts in them and some camping chairs.  This afternoon we headed to my parents house to spend the day with family.  Dad grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch.  The kids had fun playing together.  They played with legos, jumped on the trampoline and played games.  It was a great day!  On the way home we stopped at Tim Horton's for a cappuccino.  We worked on the deck for a couple hours this evening.

Today we got the stairs built for our new deck

We took the kitten to the vet this morning and they said she needs to have surgery.  They also said anesthetic is risky at her age.  We are not going to do the surgery so we will pray and see what happens.  She is acting like a normal little kitty.  The vet sent us home with antibiotics for her.

This evening Jacob and Adam were playing on the deck.  They moved a deck board and accidentally hit the kitten in her mouth with the end of the board. The skin has been pulled away from her lower jaw and its really bad.  The boys felt so bad!  We will be heading to the vet in the morning.

I took Eli to soccer practice this evening and the boys stayed home to help Daddy with the deck.  They were excited to show us their assembly line when we got back.
