More fun on the Go kart

This afternoon Adam went to a birthday party for his school friend Dylon. He was SO excited about the party.  I don't know how many times he asked, "How many more hours til the party?" He had alot  fun!

Our neighbor John gave us this go kart.  It hasn't been used in awhile and needs some work.  Jared did a few things and got it going.  The boys had so much fun.  Megan and Nik came over to ride too.

This morning I took Eli out for donuts at Tim Hortons and I got a coffee.  Then we headed to Sports Zone for a health exam.  Jared met us there.  Eli sat on my lap while I got my blood drawn.  When we got to the van he said, "That was scary!"  He got some juice and a granola bar.  This afternoon Vikki and I took the kids to the Children's Museum.   Mom met us there.  We had a lot of fun.  Jared got out of work on time to get the boys off the bus.  Eli and I went to the Homecoming parade for Kenzie's school.  Kenzie was in the parade. The kids had fun and collected a lot of candy.

After taking the boys to school this morning I headed downtown to the tridge. My Mom met me there around 9:00.  We took a nice bike ride on the rail trail.  Then Mom followed me back to my house.  We watched a Mandie movie which was really good.  Mandie books were my favorite when I was younger.  We had veggie soup for lunch.  Then we took a walk on the trail in our woods.  It sprinkled while we were out there.  Mom headed home around 2:00.  Adam had soccer practice this evening. A skunk has been digging in our yard and Jared has come across it in the barn so we set the live trap.  Caught a few chickens in the trap before we finally got the skunk.  Tonight we took the skunk to the Midland forest to let it go.  This skunk was so nervous.  It held its tail straight up and sprayed when Jared threw the blanket over the cage.  Jared forgot to wear gloves so he got a smelly hand from carrying the cage.

Jacob says, "I love school and I love my new computer!"  He took his camera to school so he could show us pictures of it.  

Adam had a field trip today and visited the village of Sanford. They first went to Sanford beach park and ate lunch.  Then they visited the bank, the fire station and the dentist.  He sure had a lot of fun.
