Melissa and her family met us at our house this morning and her and I took the older kids to a Secret Santa's workshop. 

The kids had so much fun. They got to eat pancakes, decorate cookies (as many as they wanted), do crafts, and do some Christmas shopping.

This evening we went to my Dad's side of the family's Christmas party. The party was at my Uncle Freddie's (Dad's brother) house. The kids got to play in his exercise room. Vikki brought her army men and they had fun with those.

Jacob  had a difficult time swallowing his pill so I put it on some applesauce.  Today I peeled a 1/2 bushel of apples to make applesauce. When Jacob got off the bus he was excited to tell me that he swallowed the pill on the first try. He was hoping he could take another so he could show me:) He was also excited to tell me that he clipped up to silver today (second time this year). He said he only felt sick for a short time after taking the medication but then he was fine. He didn't eat all his lunch and says some things didn't taste the same. Jacob and Daddy had cubscouts this evening. We got a wall mount for our tv so hung that and changed around the living room.

Jacob had a doctor appointment this morning so we could talk about treating his ADHD.  Jacob sat on the table and kept winking at Jared and I with a cute smile. We are going to use Methylphenidate which he will take twice a day.
