We left around 9:00 for church in Lansing. Picked up Jacob and headed to The Common's church. They had a guest speaker with a great message. They also did a couple baptisms. After church we went to Tropical smoothie. Jacob picked up a couple things from his dorm. We headed to Nana and Papa's house for a Super Bowl party. Jared went to Little Ceasars to get some pizza's. Mom made a pizza and Vikki brought some yummy bean dip and chips. Eli and Jacob played doubles ping pong against Jared and Papa. Jared and Papa won all 11 games. The superbowl started at 6:30. We sure enjoyed cheering for our teams and watching the commercials. Jacob talked us into cheering for the 49's because their quarterback is an on fire Christian. The game went into overtime and the Chiefs got the win. Fun game to watch and fun day with family.

Such a fun day with family for Super Bowl Sunday! Go 49ers. I’m glad Jacob convinced us to cheer for them. Happy he pays attention to players who are examples for Jesus.
