Day 5 (7/23/19)

We were up at 6:30. It was nice and cool this morning.  Grandma came over to visit while we waited for the boys to wake up. They were all up around 8:00. After breakfast we took a walk. The boys played a hide and seek game on their bikes. Then we played a game of 3-13 with Grandma and she won. Jacob and Adam had high scores. Then Jared and I played a game with Grandma and Grandpa and Jared won. I had the high score this time. We took another walk around the campground. After lunch we headed to Eagle River.  We spent a couple hours on the beach, swimming and playing in the sand.  It was 66 degrees and went up a couple degrees by the time we left.  It was windy so the boys had fun in the waves. They found a huge piece of driftwood to float on. We stopped at the jampot for goodies on our way back to camp. The boys rode around on their bikes and then rode to the fort store.  Jared and I took a nap in our hammocks.  Then Jared, Jacob and I took a walk before dinner. We took Grandma her birthday card. Grandpa wasn't feeling well due to problems from his hernia. We took another walk after dinner and then walked over to Pebble beach. We walked along the beach and then walked the trail back to camp. We looked for blueberries but didn't find any. Jacob, Grandma, and I took a walk around the campground. We sat by the fire and made smore's. Grandpa stayed in their van and is going to sleep in there tonight. We got to bed around 10:30.
