Adam was up the first one up this morning at around 7:00. Last week Eli moved out of the nursery and into a new Sunday school class. He goes back with his big brother where they meet before dividing into separate groups. Jacob and Adam held his hands as they walked slowly back to where they meet. They helped him find a seat and sat next to him. Jacob gave Eli his money to put in the offering tube. Jacob said today he learned that he can talk to God anytime. This afternoon, while Eli was napping, we went oustsde to enjoy the beautiful day. While the boys played Jared and I sheared, vaccinated, wormed and trimmed hooves on our ram, Kenny. Then Jared built a feed trough for the ewes from a large PVC pipe. Nik and Megan came over for a couple hours. The boys rode bikes in the driveway. Adam wanted to try riding his bike without training wheels. He did really good and Jared could let got for a little even on his first try. Adam quickly found his balance and was going up and down the driveway with Daddy close by. He took off on his own and road his bike up the driveway and to the barn. Nik also wanted to learn so Jared helped him practice. He was much more nervous but did good too. The boys painted the deck with water. When Eli woke up we headed into town to visit the library. Jared and I got some books on sheep and the boys each picked out a book. We came home for a little while but then left again to take the boys to ride their bikes in the parking lot at Jacob's school. It wasn't long and Adam was riding all on his own like he's been doing it for awhile. I brought Eli's tractor but he just wanted to walk around with me. He found a pine cone to throw. This evening we watched 101 Dalmations.
