2-29-12
It snowed during the night and was sleeting out on our drive to school this morning. The roads were really bad. At home we watched Blues Clues. Then we got out the Little People toys to play with. Eli was tired and took a morning nap. He loves to pick out the book before his nap. We sing songs and he likes me to rub his belly or back. Adam helped me make mac-n-cheese for lunch. UPS dropped off a package today of sheep stuff. It also had a 25lb bag of milk replacer in it. Adam hauled it inside while I was putting Norman in the office. They used lots of packing paper and I folded it all up for the boys to use. I cut off many long pieces of paper for them to draw on. Jacob drew a few pictures of the Titanic before and after it sunk. The boys also had fun playing with the box. Before dinner we went out to the barn to vaccinate and worm the sheep. Adam was such a great helper. He held the wormer syringe while I vaccinated (Jared held the sheep). Then he used the wax marker to draw a line on the sheep so we knew which ones were done. He also liked helping draw up the wormer. Jacob fed the sheep this evening. We brought in the tank to get ready for the chicks which will be here soon. This evening I went shopping for Eli's birthday. He came with me and we had a great time. The older boys were alseep when we got home.
