After taking the boys to school Eli and I headed to the Elevator to get chick food. Then we went to TSC for some new heat lamp bulbs. The post office called to say our chicks arrived so we headed there for them. Eli also got a package in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa. The mail lady handed it to him and he carried it to the van saying, "MINE!" He held it as we drove back home. He walked around the house with his package saying, "Mine" over and over. He really wanted to open it but I put it up so Daddy could see him open it too. The chicks helped get his mind off his package. Two chicks died and one is not doing well. Eli loved seeing them and I helped him hold one. Today I worked on cleaning the house. Adam was a big helper with vacuuming and mopping the floors. He helped me make the cakes for Eli's birthday. I can't believe Eli is going to be 2 years old!!! Jacob was so excided to get home and see the chicks. He made a nice little spot for the weak chick to lay in because it kept falling over. Daddy brought home a long tube for the boys to play with and they had alot of fun with that. This evening we went to Kindergarden roundup for Adam at Jacob's school. Jacob really wanted to show Adam around his school - by himself. So we walked much slower behind them. Eli was very happy to get to open his package and LOVES the books! Thank you!!! We read them with him many times. The boys took the long package tube to their bedroom and monkied across it from one bed to the other. It broke and Jacob fell to the ground landing on his back. His back was really sore. After the boys were in bed Jared and I decorated for Eli's birthday.
