I planned on grocery shopping this morning but the roads were bad and most schools were canceled. Jacob was so excited when I told him school was canceled. The boys did some drawing with markers. Eli loves to take off all the marker tops. Eli is still not feeling too good. We watched Clifford and Blues Clues. Around 10:30 I tucked Eli in for a nap. The boys and I went outside to play in the snow. I shoveled the driveway. The boys had so much fun! They called me over to see the snowman they'd made. Then they held hands and bounced back and forth while singing Frosty the Snowman. It was cute! We build a small fort around the snowman and had a snowball fight. It just after 1:00 when we came back inside. Eli woke up shortly after that. He only wanted yogurt for lunch. The boys played with legos. Eli seemed to be feeling better so at around 3:30 we headed to Jared’s work to pick him up and went grocery shopping at Kroger. I gave Jared half my list. Then Jared and Jacob raced Adam, Eli, and I to see who could get the items on their list first. That was really fun! Adam even put the large bag of dogfood under the cart. We stopped at Tim Hortons before headed to Vikki’s house. Eli started to act really sick there and had a fever of 103.5. I gave him some Tylenol and a bath. Vikki ordered pizza for dinner. They got new highchairs and Jared and I raced to see who could put theirs together first. Jared won but it was close. The boys had a great time playing in the highchair boxes which we got to bring home. All three boys fell asleep on the drive home. Eli still had a fever over 103 so I gave him some ibuprofen. He fell asleep on the couch.
