                                                 Campout!

Wow, today Eli turned 2! I got up to do my morning exercises and Jared had to go to work. Four more chicks died during the night:( Jacob woke up first and his back was still very sore. I woke up Adam and soon heard Eli talking. Eli liked seeing all the decorations, the balloons, and his fish cakes. He opened one of his present which was a large bouncy ball. Though he was more into his party blower. Jacob and Adam had fun playing with the ball. Eli put on a party hat and blew the blower for the chicks. After taking Jacob to school we headed to Tim Hortons for donuts. The boys picked out vanilla frosted donuts with green sprinkles and some chocolate milk. Adam liked opening his milk after I'd screw it on tight to show me how strong he is. Nana called to wish Eli a Happy Birthday and the boys enjoyed talking with her. We stopped at Nana's house on our way to the Children's museum. Mel met us there with her younger boys. We were all able to get in under Mel's membership. What a great place with so many neat things to do! We all had so much fun!!! The boys favorites were probably the vehicle area, the water table and the kitchen. The three large vehicles were so cool cause you could take off tires, stear, check the engine, and shift gears. There were construction outfits, signs, and a gas pump. Jack's favorite was the trains areas.  Mom left to get Max from school and brought him back to the museum. After a few hours of playing we headed into the dining area to eat before leaving. Eli quickly fell asleep in his carseat. Adam said "I LOVE the childrens museaum!" Nana treated us to Ice caps and donuts at Tim Hortons. After taking mom to her house we headed home. We got home just before it was time to get Jacob off the bus. Eli slept in the car until then. Another one of our chicks died, so thats 7 or the 12. Eli said "dine-saurs!" so we watched the Dinasaur Train. Jared didn't get home from work until around 4:30 because he had an important experiment he was working on there. Eli hid on daddy when he got home. After Dinasaur train was over Eli opened his presents. Adam helped start each of the presents for Eli. Eli got some bubbles, matchbox semi and car, hat/mittens, a little road ripper monster truck, a soccer ball, and a sleeping bag. He liked the change in the envelope and wanted Daddy to help put it in his pocket.  Eli saw we were making pizza for dinner and said "pizza!" After dinner we sang happy birthday to Eli and he blew out his candle. After eating cake Eli asked for his "pass (pacifier)." I asked where it was and he smiled at daddy and said "pocket" He often finds them in daddy's pocket. This evening we went to burger king for ice cream and to play. Vikki and the kids came there too and brought Eli's present. This evening we camped out in sleeping bags in the living room and watched Cars. Eli laid on his new sleeping bag for awhile. Then he crawled up next to me, held my hand and fell asleep. I tucked him back in his sleeping bag.
