Pebble Beach
Showing Eli the crawdad
It was sprinkling out when we woke up this morning and continued until after breakfast. Eli wanted to go for a walk so he and I did that. Grandma got out some notebooks and markers for the kids. Each of them had a notebook with their name on it. I took Jacob and Adam for a walk over to the dock. Then Jacob wanted to look for Copper where he’d found some last year. It didn't take him long to find a piece. We took a walk over to Pebble beach so the boys could swim. They had a great time playing on their boat (large driftwood). Eli was acting fussy so I took him back to our campsite. After lunch I tucked him in for his nap and he slept for a couple hours. Grandma and Andrew came over. Jacob, Adam, and Andrew played in the rain. We took a walk (boys rode bikes) around camp. The boys had a great time riding their bikes back and forth through a large puddle. We also stopped at the camp playground to swing. Andrew laughed when he went down the slide and got a wet butt. Uncle Jared was busy giving the three boys underdogs. Eli sat on my lap and enjoyed swinging too. Back at camp Jared got a fire started for our dinner. Then we played Uno and Go Fish with the boys. Andrew had to leave for dinner. Grandma and Grandpa came over to visit. Then Jacob and Adam went over to their place while we were getting dinner ready. Eli followed them over and he and Grandpa took a walk. After dinner each evening the boys would dry and put away dishes, which they really enjoyed doing. We took a walk (boys on bikes) and saw Grandma and Grandpa getting into their truck. Jacob told Grandpa we were having smores and Grandpa said he was going to get ice cream. Jacob replied, “You have to pay money for that.” I gave Eli a smore but he didn’t want it after the marshmellow got on his hand. Grandma and Grandpa came over to sit by the fire and visit. Eli was acting so goofy after his medicine.

From all the pictures, it does not appear that Eli was affected too much by his fractured collar bone or his special harness. He appears to be doing very normal things in a normal way.
