Showing Grandpa what they found
Eli likes wearing these floaties
Adam with his "soap"
During our morning walk Adam took a hard fall off his bike. Back at our site we packed for a trip to the beach. On our way to Eagle River we stopped at the Central mine to see if Grandpa was there. He was and we went out on the mine. The boys couldn't climb around on the rocks much as they had only wore flip flops. They did find several rocks that they wanted to keep. We got to Eagle River shortly after 11:00. Eli was acting really tired. I tucked him in for a nap in his peapod after we ate our lunch. The boys found a couple large logs and played with those for a long time. Eli slept for a couple hours until I woke him around 3:00 as we were leaving. Back at camp Andrew came over to play with the boys. Eli took another nap as he was still acting very tired. We played card games with the boys. Then Jared and I played a game of 3-13. After dinner we took a walk around the campground. Then Adam, Jacob, and I took a bike ride. We walked over to Pebble Beach. Eli loves throwing rocks in the water. Adam was pretending a rock was a bar of soap as he washed up in the lake. On our walks to and from Pebble beach we cross a road and a bridge. There is a ledge on the bridge that the boys like to walk on. Adam wasn’t paying attention and fell off at the end and got hurt. He rode on Daddy’s shoulders the rest of the way back. This evening Grandma and Grandpa came over to sit by the fire and we made smores.
