Adam watching Grandpa work on his stick
The boys must have an alarm set for 7:30:) Adam cried about wearing his patch sweatshirt but got used to it after a little while. He really doesn’t like wearing anything with a hood. When he does wear a hooded sweatshirts he usually prefers the hood up. Jacob was excited about the walking stick Grandpa made for him. After breakfast Grandpa finished a walking stick for Adam. Norman stayed with Grandma and Grandpa while we took the boys to the Fort store. They enjoyed their orange push-ups. We then walked through many of the Fort buildings. After lunch we headed to Dennis and Leslie’s. Lela gave me some birthday money (thank-you!) and I got a mug and some beads with it. Dennis was throwing pots which the boys were interested to watch. We walked to the Laughing Loon shop and then over to the school. The boys had a great time playing at the school playground. We got back to camp around 3pm. Jared and Adam went to town to get some wood. We cut up veggies for our foil meals. The boys and I took a bike ride. Then Adam asked to ride in the child seat on my bike. I took him around a couple times and then Daddy took him around. We went out for ice cream cones at the Berry Patch. From there we took a drive up Brockway Mountain to watch the sunset over Lake Superior.

It looks as if Dennis has A LOT of pots in his shop! Thank you for posting Jacob's drawing.
That's a very accurate drawing Jacob. Don't you wish we were all back to CH and we didn't need to wait 50 more weeks. I do. We could eat pancakes under the dining fly again. Yum, Yum. I love ALL the pictures.
What a wonderful drawing Jacob! Dennis and I have been looking at it carefully. We like how you have included so many details, like the shelves inside, the flowers, the wheel, and place where the burner goes in the kiln, and the bricks and board on top of the kiln. You are very observant.
We are raku firing today. Wish you were here!
