Jacob teaching Eli how to blow in the whistle (bullet)

It rained during the night. Jacob was helping Grandma with pancakes this morning and she asked him to put the water in. He poured the water onto the the electric skillet which had hot oil on it. He was surprised by the loud noise it made. He kept telling Grandma, “You should have told me.” Grandma laughed and later told him she found a new way to clean her skillet. After our morning walk we headed over to Hunter's Point. We hiked to the beach and walked along Lake Superior. Then we just sat in the rocks and relaxed. Jacob and Adam played on the big rocks by the lake. It was warm in the sun so we moved to the shade and ate lunch. After a little while we hike over the rocks to the point. Eli was very tired in the carrier on Daddy’s back. He was happy as long as he had his blanket and after a little while he fell asleep. On the way back we stopped to get steward pop’s. The boys got crème sodas. Then we went to visit with Leslie at the shop. Jacob showed me a bowl he thought would be perfect for cheerios. We let the boys pick out a small bowl which they wanted to use right away back at camp. Eli took a nap. The boys played at Grandma and Grandpa’s site while Jared and I took Norman to fetch sticks in the water. Jared threw it out pretty far once and Norman stopped swimming and started to sink. We relaxed in the shade at our site. Grandma, Grandpa, Eric and Andrew came over to visit. We took a walk after dinner. Dennis let the boys sit in his kayak which they really enjoyed. We made smores again this evening. Grandma and Grandpa came over.
