Grandpa showing the boys what he found.
Jared and I were up around 7am. It was nice, cool morning. Eli and Adam woke around 8:00 and Jacob slept until 9:00. After breakfast I took Adam and Eli for a walk over to the dock. We sat there and enjoyed the cool breeze by the lake. A friendly boy chated with us there. Jacob was awake and had finished his pancakes when we got back. We took our morning walk/bike ride with Grandma . Jacob found a quarter and some firewood. We then relaxed at the campsite until lunchtime. Around 1:00 we headed over to Dennis’s shop. Grandma, Grandpa, Eric and his family were there too. Leslie had finished the boys necklaces which they were excited to see. We headed to Estivant Pines to hike the trails there. Eli slept in the carrier for awhile. Jacob and Adam were great hikers and lead us all the way. We had so much fun and the huge pine trees were so beautiful. Eli loved walking on the board bridges. We got back to camp around 5pm. Jacob, Adam, and I took a walk (boys on bikes then on scooters) around camp. Jacob put his bike helmet on Eli and Eli cried when he took it off. Eli was happy though when Jacob put his (Eli’s) helmet on him. After dinner we went for a walk. The boys built a log cabin with the firewood. Eli fell asleep on Grandma’s lap as we sat by the fire this evening.

Thanks for the pictures of the necklaces. I just need to be patient, didn't I, Kimmy?
They are lovely. I am still curious whether the color changed in the firing. Red glass (and orange glass) is likely to change its shade when it is fired in a kiln. I can become a deeper darker red.
:) They used two paints, dark grey and light grey. The light grey changed to white and the dark grey varied from turquise to copper.
