Shopping for Prom

It was cool this morning but warmed up and was a beautiful day today.  Adam was up watching tv when I woke up.  Eli woke up soon after I did.  We left around 11:45 and headed to Vikki's house.  She opened the door in her sunroom and we watched the squirrels.  They ate the food she put on the step by the door.  Eli loved watching the squirrels with us.  We made pb&j sandwiches for lunch.  Vikki had to leave for her Dr appointment and we had to leave to get Eli to the theater before 2:20.  Eli and Jack are seeing the new Godzilla movie.  Bruce met us at the theater with Jack.  The boys went in for the movie and Adam and I headed to JcPenney. We found a nice suit for Adam to wear to Prom.  The suits were on sale and I had a 30% off coupon.  The lady said, I can get you a better coupon and she gave me 40% off.  Adam also got some funny socks to wear with his suit.  We stopped at Tim Hortons.  I got a coffee and Adam got a donut.  Eli said the movie was really good.  We headed to the Midland community center to drop off Adam.  He and Hope are going swimming.  After swimming they went to the park and then Culver's.  Adam said he tried Hope's shrimp and liked it a lot.  Eli and I went to old navy to look at swim trucks.  Eli got a new sweatshirt.  We then went to Dunhams so Eli could get a new pair of shoes.  This evening we watched The A-team and also watched Dr Quinn.  When Adam got home he wanted to go get some of his nighttime driving hours.  He drove for about an hour.  Jared and I unloaded the kiln.

Picking up sticks for Papa

 We left this morning to go to Nana's house.  Nana and Peyton were playing a game of 3-13.  Nana won.  Then Eli and I played the next game with them.  Eli took score but he didn't win.  Pretty poor scorekeeper who can't win.  That's what my Grandpa said.  Haha.  I won.  Vikki and Isaac came over too.  We visited for awhile and then made pb&j sandwiches for lunch.  The kids helped Papa pick up sticks in the yard and  Papa started a fire.  Mom and I went outside to take a walk around in the yard.  We made it a quick walk since it was cold and windy.  The sun made it look warm out there but it wasn't warm.  Mom had to leave around 3:00.  We went to the Antique store in Freeland.  It's a big store and we walked around for awhile.  We sure had fun looking at everything.  Vikki found some nice pool sticks.  Eli was looking at a vintage cash register that had a couple keys stuck.  The guy thought Eli broke it and said it was worth $5000.  He was upset and actually kicked us out of the store.  I've never been kicked out of anywhere before.  Eli felt bad but he said the keys were like that.  When we were leaving we heard a loud pop and I thought maybe we blown a tire.  Adam got out to check the tires.  I guess we drove over an e-cigarette.  At home Jared and I took a walk around the yard and in the woods.  Then we worked on loading the kiln.  We made pizza's for dinner.  Adam went to Hope's house for dinner.  Her Dad made taco's.  They watched a movie and then worked on a puzzle.  He had a great time.  Adam said her parents like him so much they want to keep him.  Hope's Dad brought him home by 11:00.  Eli helped hold Blaze while we changed the bandage on his tail.  He purred loudly the whole time.  It is healing fast.

Jacob's new desk

Eli was sleeping on the couch this morning.  He doesn't remember how he got there.  I worked on moving Jacob's old desk out of his room and setting up his new desk.  I headed into town to go Easter shopping but I had to turn because my vision wasn't good.  I could tell a migraine was coming. Bummer.  I went home and put an ice pack on my head.  My head hurt most of the day but my vision improved pretty quickly.  After lunch I went to town and got some things for the boys Easter baskets. We had drumsticks, mashed potatoes, and broccoli for dinner.  Jared made some yummy biscuits too.  Hope's Dad picked Adam up around 7:00 and he went to their house to watch a movie.  He had a great time.  We glazed pots this evening.

We left around 9:30 and headed to Hope's house.  Hope is coming to spend the day at Vikki's house with us.  Mom came over too and we had a nice visit.  Adam and Hope played pool in the basement.  Mom, Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and I played Apple to Apples.  We had so much fun.  Then Adam and Hope wanted to play.  We decided to eat lunch and then play with them.  After another game of Apple to Apples we decided to teach Hope how to play 3-13.  Adam and Hope were a team and they won the game. Adam and Hope played a game of pool vs Eli and Peyton. After Mom left Vikki and I sat in the sunroom for awhile.  Then we decided to clean the high chair that Vikki had found on the side of the road.  We headed home around 5:30.  Stopped at Nana and Papa and the kids got a pop for the drive home.  Jared had dinner made when we got home.  After dinner we unloaded the kiln.  We waxed the bottom of the pots and glazed the insides. Eli had fun playing Minecraft with Jack.  Uncle Rody gave him a new desk chair while he likes alot.  I put another coat of paint on the desk for Jacob's room.  Blaze has a really bad puncture wound on his tail.  I shaved around it and treated it with Eli's help tonight.

We headed to Vikki's house this morning, getting there around 10:30.  We sat in the sunroom with Eli and Peyton and visited while drinking our coffee.  Eli went on and on talking about the fun memories they have with our old neighbor, their friend, Nik.  We got to FaceTime with Kenzie and Rehvyn.  Rehvyn was all smiles.  Then we left to go thrift shopping.  Eli and Peyton came with us.  Adam and Isaac stayed home.  The only thing I found at the thrift stores was a cute watering can.  Vikki got a cute outfit for Rehvyn.  We stopped at Intermission deli on the way home to pick up a sub sandwich to share.   After lunch we sat in the sunroom again and played apples to apples with Peyton and Eli. We had fun playing that game.  Then Vikki held Lucy while I trimmed her nails and cleaned her teeth.  We fixed a birdhouse and hung it back in the tree and also hung a bird feeder.   Eli climbed a big tree and got a hug dead branch out of it.  We left around 6:00.  Eli stayed to spend the night.  This evening Hope came over and we watched a couple lego movies.  I made some popcorn.  Then we played some fun games of Uno Flip.

After church we went shopping.  Jared picked up pizza's and pops.  We watched The A-team while eating pizza for lunch.  After lunch we had fun playing bedwars with the boys.  This afternoon we loaded the kiln.  We broke one handle off of a salt pig because the shelf hit it.  Had to take one large bowl back inside because it didn't fit.  Adam wanted to get some driving time.  He drove for a little over an hour.  Jacob is really sore today after going to the trampoline park yesterday.  Eli had a lot of fun playing minecraft with Jack and some friends.  Tonight we watched The A-team and had popcorn, pop and ice cream.  Jared and I played 3-13 and I won.  It was a close game and came down to whoever went out in the A's round.

 The dishwasher hasn't been cleaning as good so Jared took several parts out of it that needed a good cleaning. The parts were very clogged with what looked like grease but it wasn't grease. I got it all cleaned up and Jared put it back together.  It's running like new again!  Jacob, Adam, Eli and Hope had a lot of fun playing a game together on their phones.  They can all talked to each other while playing using their airpods.  The birds were busy again today.  Jared shot a cowbird. I cleaned some of the fish tanks this afternoon.   Jared and I played 4 games of 3-13 today and I only one 1 of those.  Boo.  Adam asked us to play later and he won that game.  Hope's family picked Adam up this evening to go with them to the Planetarium in Bay City.  Adam had a great time with them.  Hope liked my goulash so much so I sent home with them for her and her family.  Adam says Hope's Dad is a lot of fun with him like Jared is with Hope.  Jacob and Abi went to a trampoline park this afternoon.  Jacob said it was sooo fun!  They also got to play laser tag. Abi was on Jacob's team but he said she whooped him just in her team.  I guess she's pretty good at laser tag. Their team won.
