Hiking the monastery trails
Feeding the chipmunk at the pottery shop
Walking to Pebble beach
We were up with Adam around 6:30am. Soon Eli was also awake. He and I played a game of tonk and then Adam joined us for a few games of Uno. After breakfast we went on our morning walk. Adam went down to watch the triatholon race. Eli took a scooter ride and then stopped at Lake Fanny Hooe. He found a few clams in the lake and took them to show Grandpa. Jacob woke up and rode his bike down to watch the race. We went to visit with Grandma and Grandpa at their site and Eric and Kat also came over. We decided that after we all had lunch we would head over to hike the monastery trails. It was such a fun hike through the woods. From there we went to the shop to visit with Leslie. Grandma and Grandpa were there and Eric's family came too. We packed up our pottery to take home. Selling pottery at the shop was such a fun and exciting experience! Thank you Dennis and Leslie!!! We stopped to feed the geese some bread and then got pops on our way back to our site. We made dinner while the kids played on the bikes and scooters. Jacob used his front bike brakes hard and went over his handlebars. He landed on his belly and then the bike fell on him. After dinner we took a walk around the campground. Dennis and Marsha Owens surprised the kids with ice cream. We spent some time this evening packing and took down the dining fly. Then we took a walk with Grandma and Grandpa over to Pebble beach and Andrew and Noah came with us. Adam went for a swim and Eli went to the trail to pick blueberries. We looked for pink rocks that Grandma had asked for. This evening we sat by the fire and made s'mores. We were in bed around 10:30.
