Day 12 (8-2-17)

Grandma scooter riding with the boys.

We were up around 6:45.  After the coffee was made I headed over to the east campground to do a load of laundry.  When Adam woke up he rode his bike over to where I was and stayed with me until the laundry was done.  He drank a hot chocolate while we walked around the campground.  Back at our campsite Eli was awake and soon so was Jacob.  After breakfast we took our walk around the campground.   Noah came with us riding Eli's scooter.  Grandma got on Jacob's scooter and went for a ride.  We went over to Pebble beach and hiked along the beach.  The waves were coming in good and it was so pretty.  We found some bigger rocks to bring home for our rock garden.  We hiked back on the trail in the woods and picked some blueberries.  We were walking over the Fort bridge and saw Ben and Lynsey Cable (friends from my school) who are camping at Fort Wilkin's.  Back at camp we made lunch and then headed to Dennis and Leslie's shop.  Grandma and Grandpa are watching the shop today and we are going to spend the day at the shop with them.  It was a nice cool day on the deck and we worked on rolling yarn balls.  The boys had fun playing with silly putty and playing games.  Eric and his family also came there for awhile. Jacob and Andrew played a game of chess.  Then the boys went to the school playground for awhile.  When they came back Jared gave them each a dollar so they could walk to the store and buy a pop.  Leslie brought out some toys for the kids to play with which they really enjoyed.  Back at camp we made dinner.  After dinner we took a walk around the campground.   Then we walked over to Pebble beach with Grandma and Grandpa.  Jacob did some fishing and Adam went swimming.  Eli went blueberry picking with Daddy and Grandpa.  We saw a loon on the lake and it kept diving under the water.  Adam got cold on the walk back and wanted to warm up in Lake Fanny Hooe.  He didnt stay in the water long because Dominic was fishing.  Jacob stayed to fish with Dominic. Adam changed and we took a bike ride.  We sat by the fire with Grandma and Grandpa. The neighbor kids loved Grandma and came over to visit with her. They were calling her Grandma and she gave them each a dishcloth that she'd knitted.  The boys played in the screen tent and Eli cuddled on my lap. Dennis and Marsha came over to visit.   We made s'mores and got to bed around 10:30.
